Now you got it... More flexible than they look.. I always keep masking tape handy when training... just in case I break one..
Good job!
Edit: That earlier pic was 28 days old.. 24/0 for the first 3 weeks.. then 20/4 till flip..

They are! I was surprised lol
And I never ran 24/0 I started with 20/4 and it's still on 20/4 now, I should still be ok till flip tho you think? Also the new growth doesn't seem to like the light distance, the leaves are starting to taco. The Reggie plant is about 30" away and my other is about 34". Is it normal for the new growth to be sensitive ?

Brother, you might be wasting a lot of zip ties with this method. Consider using old electric cable (12 or 14 gauge works well for me) or garden staples for when the plant gets bigger. Sorry to meddle, it´s just that I switched from zip ties after I tried these.

Yea I know lol I'm dropping serious cash on a divorce and custody battle right now and didn't wanna spend anymore cash on my grow right now lol I already had a few hundred zip ties so why not? :D

I get it. I´m currently growing 4 plants, and by training them they have so many branches that I would need hundreds of zip ties. With my cable cutter and some scrap cable (or a couple of dollars of cable from the hardware store) I made a lot of reusable ties.

I wish you luck in your endeavors, a succesful harvest, and happiness whatever the outcomes.

Damnit guys, fml. I checked on my plants and one of the ties somehow slipped and when I went to slip it back on the branch snapped clean off right at the base! :/ I can't get it to stay touching with tape cuz it's such an akward spot. What should I do??? Can I use a certain glue? That's the only way I see it staying together.. will new growth come back where it snapped? Or will it just be a lopsided plant now? damnnniittt

Damn lol yea I was mad as hell at first but if this branch will root I'll have 2 clones of this plant, so not a total loss, but a good learning experience xD

Sorry Man, tape only works if they don't break all the way off.. If they are still attached at all, they will grow.. but a clean break is not repairable.. You still have one top to play with so all is not lost.. just gonna take a little longer..

Thanks for the reply! What are the chances of the snapped branch rooting? I cut the tip at an angle and put it in a jiffy pellet and into a humidity dome

It has a very good chance of rooting.. Some rooting hormone would have helped.. But I've rooted successfully without it..
You're definitely learning...
Awesome thanks! I've been trying and you guys are a huge help! so I hope I am lol :D

Looks like it's time to top that big plant again..
Yea! I was just thinking that when I took the pic lol what size pot you think I should finish it in? I've got a 9x10" pot right now I was gonna use because I don't think my plants will be huge this go around lol

You need to find something 3+ gallons or so... any smaller will lead to a root bound plant that needs water every day..
They do make some decent quality cheap grow bags...
