Hey guys, its my first grow, and I have a bit of a problem, i think. I was away from my plant for about 3 days, and it turns out my lights got unplugged! So my plant was in darkness for 3 days! I'm about 4 weeks into flower. Before i left, all the pistols were white. When i came back and turned the lights back on i had seen that many of them had turned red. Is this due to the elongated darkness? Am i going to have to harvest early and not get as good a yeild??? and input would be greatly appriciated. Thanks guys

If I were you, I'd just continue with the 12/12 cycle until they are done. They'll continue on OK.

Update: ok so, im just about done with my 5th week of flowering and the buds have lots of crystals on them, and the hairs are about 3/4 red on almost all of the buds. I'm thinking about letting it go perhaps a few more days to maybe a week before i want to chop it. Is 6 weeks of flowering too short, even if it looks ready? Is there any plants out there that can finish in 6 weeks of flowering?

They could be done, but the hairs aren't really the way to judge it's ripeness. I'm guessing they did turn en masse due to the prolonged dark spell.
I just harvested some at 46 days . . . VERY few amber, mixed clear and smoky, for that high high. Not sure of the strain.

Esso posted this link yesterday . . . check it out. It may help you decide where you're at in this grow.?
