Help - It Smells like Shit!

Okay so it sounds like the flush is what has caused the coco ones to deteriorate. Will they come good again now they are back to regular feeds or will i need to use the phytoff stuff? Any advice on the green algae in the perlite? Thanks again guys, this is my first grow and just trying to get my head around it. Will be running the perlite system permanently plus thats good good genes (critical mass fem) where the coco was inherited and is bag seed i think. So i guess making sure that the perlite is right is top priority
If the fresh water flush caused thebdeficiency and your back to regular feed then you dont need the other product. Note... The deficient leaves never turn back green.

i run hempies as well, 10 gallon totes. 70% perlite 30% pro-mix. i would occasionally get root problems. now, i use 3 ml per gallon of 29% hydrogen peroxide every other watering. no more root problems. it kills anything growing in the pot besides your plants roots, dissolves dead root material, and oxygenates the root zone.
if all you can get is 3% at the drug store, use 15 ml per gallon.

peroxide works great and oxygenates the root zone as it breaks down but its infinitely more expensive than bleach. both work great!

Okay so i have an h2o2 solution and root stimulant mix (will post a pic of details later) from the local shop. Also changed nutes to a better brand as what i previously had was really not great and caused a lot of ph problems due to a buffer agent. Balancing the res 4 times a day was a bitch which hopefully wont be needed anymore.

Plan is to flush all the perlite system with ph5.8 water and then reset the res with new nutes, root stim and h2o2.

Water the coco as normal with new nutes, root stim and added h2o2.

Redo drains so there are no pooling areas and all run straight back to the res. Also plan to ice down the res in the middle of the day to try and cool it a bit.

Anything else i should be doing at the same time or differently?

Alright so did the above yesterday and all the smell is gone! Yay! However ive found out my ec and ph meters are shot and had to get new ones. Had the water tested and the ec out of the tap is .3 to .4. The guys telling me its no good at all and i need bottled or ro water. Any advice guys?

.3-.4 seems pretty standard. where im at its 1.5ec and thats no joke. i have to run RO water which is a pain filling jugs until you finally cough up the 100 bucks for a small system and put a brute trash can on a float valve :)

i would run it as is for now. 150-200 ppm isnt too crazy. probably mostly calcium anyway. if youre worried about it start lugging 5 gal bottles to the filling stations.

even veg + bloom says to add back tap water till you hit .3 ish when using their product with RO so i think youre fine.

which nutes did you switch to?
