Help! Indoors natural light only!

So, i got this from a friend as a gift and it looked pretty good when i got it. My friend grew all his plants from natural lighting (being near or on window sill) his all looked very good and yielded very well. Now here i come the noobest of the noob and the plant looks to be dying. Still has green on stem and such and i'm hoping i can try my best to bring it back. I would get advice from my friend but, we do not speak anymore. Someone help! I do not intend on bringing it outside because of neighbors and such. I was also told to take a long steamy shower with the plant in the bathroom with me, that the plant likes the humidity. Any advice, tips or suggestions will be taken seriously. I really could use this to save money on buying bud. The leaves and buds are crunchy feeling and are clearly dying please help!

wow man uhhhhhh. that needs ALOT of light its in flower already! if your low on cash get some cfl's 2700k or close to that stick it in a closet and give it 12 on 12 off of light. and what kind of soil are you using that plant isn't even good for taking a clone IMO. it needs alot of tlc how old is it?

Yes this is what my friend gave me the plant in just recieved it a week ago it looked good in beginning but i was wondering if it was worth my time to replant and bring back to life like i said im an ultra noob grower, I have top soil and a new pot i could replant right now. Its about 6 mos old as my friend told me. I would light it inside but everyone ive talked to said its a bad idea seeing as electric will go up and the electric company might pick up on something, as i was told i know nothing.

Kill it, get some fem seeds, decent soil and a few cfl bulbs. The electric company won't pick you up. Don't be silly. That's like saying, I better not use a window ac because it'll take my bill up and they think I'm growing! Be logical and sensible. It's a power company, their goal is to make as much money as possible they're not the police. Do it right or don't do it.

You should be more worried about smell than power. The smell will get you busted 100x faster than your slight increase in power. Just an FYI. I run a 400 watt HPS and my bill only went up 18 bucks a month.

attitude seed bank or herbies headshop. I've bought from both and like both. I like herbies a bit more because they don't charge an arm and a leg to ship discreet. Bulbs, depending on your budget you can grow with a few cfl bulbs bought at lowes to a HID light with fan filter and all of that. Budget is your main factor. Do you have one?

I'm starting out with bag seed. search through these forums collect as much knowledge as you can and trial and error thats what im doing. you can make decent pot from bagseed. then when your skills are good then look into buying good feminized seeds. thats just my opinion and what im doing vets probably have better advice for you. just trying to help GL!
