help -im so upset

i looked in my tent this morning ,small tent 60x60x120

and some of my presious buds were burned

you see the problem was my diesel ryders have far exceeded there stated max height

and are now in the seventee cm range ,so i turned off the hps 250 and had to swap back to my 200w cfl, which is still swamped by all the branches

they are in there 6th week(sorry ive no camera)

will the cfl dramatically reduce my overall yield using it this far along??

and will my buds suffer in this enviroment??

Is there any way you can gently tie the branches down? It would be a real shame to starve your ladies of lumens this far along. My girls ALWAYS exceed my growspace height and tying them is a great solution to keep them low. Just be very careful when you are bending mature stems. SNAP!

Using a light that puts out less light will decrease your plants energy intake, so yes your buds will be effected.

Next grow, think about how much space you have.

It's a general rule that your plant will double and often triple in size during flowering. If your grow tent is 6 foot tall, veg your plants to be one foot tall, etc.

Greatly?

Well a CFL can't penetrate as deep into the plant as a hps would.

You'll end up with smaller buds, but how much smaller I can't honestly say.
