Help - Im about to lose another batch of rooted clones

Hey I just read about 4 or 5 of this guys posts and his answer for everything is to re-pot your plants which he is COMPLETELY WRONG!!!
I agree.. Ive had my babys in a 1 gallon container for 6 weeks now and i have no prob... indoor unless you trying to grow a 6 foot plant you need nothing more the a 5 galon pot.. imagine how much dirt you have to be buying evry time unless you only have one plant..haha my opinion you need to raise your p.h to around 7 and water with that because the calmag is very acidic as well as any ferts. so lets say you water with a p.h of 6.5 cahnces are your soils p.h is maybe 6 or evenm lower.. i alaways water with a p.h of 7 to keep my soilsp.h at around 6.5 to 6.7.. when you water with plain water then you can adjust your waters p.h to 6.6 or what ever you usto...

This is my second batch which have had this yellowing issue. Last batch I thought it was PH problems of the soil so I heavily flushed them. Leaf color never recovered and eventually the entire plants went yellow. The yellowing you see has happened over the course of the last 3 days, since transplanting clones in red party cups into these 1gal containers of Roots Organics.

The yellowing progresses from the base of the leaf towards the edges. I thought the 600 may have been a bit much for the plants so i some paper towels just below the hood to diffuse the light. Im showing this problem on almost all of the plants. Ive done fairly exhaustive research into this and the only thing that looks similar in terms of symptoms is an iron def. but I think it is progressing far too fast to be an iron def.

It seems like the roots just arnt taking any nutrients from the soil, yet everyone I talk to says Roots Organics soil is legit.

I really need some help with this one guys, Ive seen other people with similar symptoms in other threads but there has never been an established cause or solution. HELP!

Sorry bro i forgot to tell you am almost sure you have a k def... i know other ppl migth not agree with this but when you have clones that are just transplanted there roots are growing fast and which means the new growth is also growing but when the plant becomes def in p or k the new leaves start turning yellow from the inside of the fan leaves towards the tips.. so adjust your p.h stop adding so much calmag all you will be good to go.. i hope this helped.. Just know that ive had this same problem and it startyed withh my p.h being of... also add some ferts that contain and even ratio on npk.. i kow the roots organics has alot of good ferts in them but they need microlife to break down organic matter the the stuff they shit out feeds the plant but this process can take a long time because i see your not addin any inoculants**(microlife) get some (Rhizosphere voodo juice or something like that) **to your soil which is very important when your growing organic.. Never forget about your roots... good luck let me know if this helped...

I see light bleach from too intense light or iron def. I could be wrong. I stopped using regular roots organic soil cuz it had fungus gnats in it. The 707 mix works killer imho

Ok heres the latest picture update.

I applied the foliar twice yesterday and have not see visible results yet.

Also included are pictures of the labels im using so you can see whats in the foliar.

One plants got some pale gray/brown spots on the leaves that wernt there yesterday - Possibly due to the foliar feed? (Pic Included)

Im going to continue to apply the foliar 1-2 times daily until the soil dries out. If there is still no improvement at that point then I will be flushing the pots and then watering with a 50% nute solution.

Sound like a decent plan?

I figured it out... well actually a couple of guys over on THCFarmer pointed me in the right direction.

What your all seeing is the effect of the toxic plastic sheeting that was used to make hydrohuts during 2008. They give off some sort of gas (supposedly chlorine) that absolutely rapes the plants.

Im not sure if these plants will ever recover but everything Ive seen so far on this matches, the symptoms, time frame and most importantly the FUCKING TENT.

I think im going to PM a mod and see if something can be sticky'd about this. It may be an old problem but its obviously something thats still affecting people. Ive put enough money into trying to fix this that I dont want to see other people have to go through it.

oh... and fuck hydrohut.

Ahhhh, now THAT makes sense. I've never seen a deficiency that looked quite like that, and that explains it. Everything in your grow setup sounds a-okay, which is why it was so tough to dx. Good thing those guys helped you out, 'cause I would've never thought it would've been your grow tent doing it. Especially, since I've never owned a grow tent.lol

Congrats man, that's great news.
