Hi all,
I overfed a few plants at 1/4 strength of Fox Farm Nutes and flushed twice since. I've noticed bottom of leaves turning yellow-thought it was from nute def from flushing. I've waited til new growth was normal color or alittle light green til i fed next with 1/16. Still, yellowing at bottom so i watered next with 1 tsp Epsom salt. Fed this time with 1/8 strength as top of plants look great but yellow at bottom still moving up. Runoff is exactly 6.5 as I just watered again with epsom salt, again-yellow still moving up. Top of plants are starting to get alittle darker green now! This looks to me like a Mag def but apparently I'm wrong! I water ,feed ,water , feed. Also, plants are to be transplanted soon as they need water every other day now.

All replies appreciated

that pot is WAY to small and the plant can not sustain the top growth without killing the bottom growth first. the roots can only absorb so many nutrients and deliver them to the plant, if there is too much Plant and not enough Roots then the plant will start to die.

the Leaves on the bottom are oldest, they will go first (As with your plant) The later damage will happen to fan leaves (Its starting...) And finaly, the plant will outgrow the pot and DIE.

Transplant that plant ASAP.

P.S:
0-6 inches = 4 inch pot
6-15 inches = 1 gallon pot
15-36 inches = 3 gallon pot
36+ inches = 5 Gallon Bucket.

i agree, you need to transplant to a bigger pot...i say never grow in anything less then a 3 gallon pot..

me personally would never use anything less then 5gallons

on another note...never use anything to grow your plants in that light can get threw..E.I...your green cup sucks at blocking light...light is not good for your roots.......always use something where no light can get threw the pot that your useing
