k so i was dumb and bought some clones without scopeing them. I noticed mildew once i got them home so i used physan 20 and fixed it right away. now i water my plants and these little white bugs run to the surface. Not sure but im thinking root aphids.

any suggestions on how to get rid of them for good?

gonats it's organic cedar oil extract smell is not to bad either, also put a 1/2 layer of sand on top of the soil and use rockwool cubes to block the drain holes so entry on the bottom of the pot isnt possible

exactly, havnt put much time into them yet, not much of a loss.
seriously these things are a bitch. read some of the threads on here or thcfarmer. just google how to get rid of root aphids and you can read for days on end about what is working and what isnt.

i am trying a fungs called met 52. haveing good luck. i know they are not 100% gone yet. but i am pushing on with my flower room.
i have also had good luck with mighty wash drenches/dunks. every 3-4 days. and no pest strips for any flyers in veg.

people have also had good results with liquid pyrethym and imid (sestemic found in merit 75 or bayer) also spectriside.

have heard mixed results about biotanaguard (a fungus) and nemitotes

people have not had good results with
neem, azaomax, azitrol, sms 302, bti, mosquito dunks, gonats, gnatrol. the list goes on. not much harms these fuckers.

some people say you have to attack them with different stuff. use a fungus and a drench, or nemitodes and a drench that wont kill the nemeitodes. cause i think the fungi will.

after getting root aphids 2x from clones. i am not taking in clones ever again. i have 8 strains right now in seed or growing. so i should be set for genitcs for a while. and when they run out, i will just get more seeds and keep my own clones alive. i think bringing in clones is probably in the top 10 do not do list for me.....i think we have too much to worry about bugs in our mediums then to be bothering with other peoples bugs....you wouldnt wear a hat from someone you know has lice would you?

i used EcoSmart and Azamax, did the trick.

for the azamax i mixed my solution in a 1gallon sprayer bought at home depot, that thing works better then a spray bottle

i was told to use ciggerettes in water let it soak over night and use the juice from the tobacco and water the plants with it then normally water when u need too and that should kill the aphids but im too scared too try it incase my buds taste like tobacco lol

I've had good success controlling them with Azamax, but recently my mom looked like she might be fucked. After the second soil drench, they were still coming out the bottom of the felt pot. I kept them from spreading by putting duct tape around the perimeter of the saucer. I almost cloned her out in fear of the winged version appearing, but instead I asked the guys at the grow shop for advice. They sold me this stuff called evergreen, a pyrethrum concentrate. I drenched last night, and as this morning I haven't seen a single aphid.

Figured I would share because in all my research into root aphids, I had never heard of this product until yesterday. Glad I went with this instead of bayer advanced, or SNS 203.

Hey there Just wanted to share some info. I'm now fighting these things for the 2nd time Dont know where they came from as i dont let anything in my house because im self seficent... But anyways If your having Issues in your bloom Search a product called botanigard 22WP Its a mycoincesticide WORKS GREAT in bloom its all organic they hit me the last 2 weeks of bloom on my OG's im in hydro rockwool medium do a full medium drench with the rate of 1 pound per 50 gal's water they started dying off after about 3 days they started moving out of my rockwool. I looked at them under my microscope can see the fungi's eatin them (what a great thing to see). So that takes care of them in bloom if they happen to hit you there. So now what do we do about veg Well lets nuke them in veg i had been using bayer tree and shrub but i dont like that fact that it haves a fert's in there so i want something stronger as well. So after plenty of research and calling manufacturs and shit of products I found Merit 75 with is 75 % imidacloprid mixed at a rate of 1 tsp per 10 gallons give this to them in veg NEVER in bloom only use the myco in bloom! So give this to them in veg up to the day before you flip to 12/12 do some searches on the net about how to use this product theres not many post about it but there is some good info... Anyways thats whats working for my now everyday i look my numbers are knocked down and i can see them turning brown in bloom as the myco eats them ....

Botanigard is safe to use up to the last day of bloom even when your flushing

Well i hope this helps anyone seeking some help with your friendly root aphid problem

Did you buy those clones from a friend or from a dispensary? I would hate to buy it from a dispensary and have some shit like that infect your whole grow. Man that would suck.
