HELP, i got the bud rot!

Hey, the season has been super a very cool one from the start. My girls are finally getting the hot summer they deserve. But I noticed a little bud rot on one of the smaller plants at the crown, do I just pick it all off and hope for the best or should i cut the crown and hope I got it all? Any other suggestions or comments would be helpful, thanks green friends.

are you sure you dont have the budworm? they eat through buds and shit in the hole they made making the bud rot.

its bud rot, no worms present. picked most of it off and it hasnt spread yet. if i see anymore im just going to cut it generously.

once that shit starts its mostly like on other parts of the plant. How far into Flower are you? Best thing to do is cut it out carefully and proper check the plant all over for any more signs. If you see any more then id cut my loss's. If ya not that late on in flower bit of a nightmare, but if ya right near the end its not too much of a problem as least buds will be more mature etc.... Ive found that even the most mould resistant Strains, if it rains and the buds are soaked then ya more than likely in for some trouble.
I picked a strain that was highlitghted as one of the most mould resistant strains on the markets. That was the unique selling point. It rained a couple of times and i got bud rot. And it only rained a couple of times it wasnt like days on end downpour.
And this was suppose to be mould resistant. Mould resistant my arse! The Church greenhouse btw. apart from the mould, foookin lovely lovely smoke.
