HELP! i fucked up big time

Was watering my girl nd doing some lsting right before the lights where supposed to come back on and I snapped her top 2 inches almost completely off... I used some scotch tape to put her back on... will she reatach?... what should I do... she was 2 weeks into flowering!
.. do r reveg or just let her do her thing nd hope she reatachs in a few days

If it was a complete or nearly complete break, most likely it won't make it. You'll know rather quickly, in a day or two tops. If everything starts dropping and doesn't pick up, it's dead. Don't feel too bad- it's happened at one time or another to most of us. By the way, scotch tape sucks to use on plants. Duck tape is easier to remove and thicker.

Damn it! Thanks for the help... even if the top dies won't the bottom 8-10 inches still survive... sorry for posting in the wrong section I have some cloning gel should I put that on the break

If the plant is a foot tall and you broke the top 2 inches you will be ok, the plant will stress, growth will slow a bit and then thing will get back on track.

Thanks hopefully it survives guess only time will tell

It's into flowering and was 12" tall?

Yes, everything below the break will be fine. It may delay flowering a bit, but it will recover.

That has happened to me too. Probably to most people at one time. I snapped off about 8 inches of a three foot plant and it was almost a complete break. I put cloning gel on both parts of the stem and splinted it abck together and it was good to go!
