HELP***heat

ok so im freakin out right now i just got home and checked my temp its currently hoverin 94-96 which is bad i knwo but its must have been like thos for two days plants have not shown any adverse sighns to the heat they dont loko stressed at al all are perked up and seem to actully be flourishing if you wnat ot look see what they look like i ll throw pics up tom to busy right now but heres the thing i have a k mh running on 24 for a week then ill go to 18/6 its got a cool tup open on both ends but i think ive got this backwards liek the dumbass i am i have this huge exahst fan sucking out the end of the tube closets to all the wiring should it be blowing from the other end i have no idea are these temps to high if my plants are doing ok? please help!!!!

You should have good airflow to disperse heat from your bulb and tops of your plants, especially if you're using HID lighting. If the tops of your plants closest to your light(s) are scorched they are either too close or it is too hot in your space. When you do switch to !8-6 you're space will have more time to cool down. Post some pics next time. Oh.... and spell check also helps.

Your plants will survive a lot hotter temps but the problem is heat stress. Any type of stress lowers yield and can cause hermorphidites. The ideal temps are between 65 and 85 degrees. If not in this range the stomata closes and growth slows till its back in the ideal range. try to keep temps in the ideal range to prevent problems later.

i have only an ext. fan sitting on top of my box over a couple of holes with a 400 watt hps under it and it works just fine cuz i don't actually have a ''box'' it's just a haggard board with a light ang a black trashbag door with white on the plant side. the fan blows out the hot air from the HID and sucks cool air in from under the bag, which i don't seal(more as a reflector for light spillage). My plants are fine but i have to pinch and top them cuz my space is only 3 1-2 by 2 feet. but they're doin good.

hmm have any pics i cant visualze that set up the fan i have iits like industrial strenght if you stand within 6 inches of the cool tube on the open end itll suck in your shirt anything near it

alright this heat iissue its bad temps at base of plants reading 106 i moved the thermo its right under the lights im sure this is why im getting a high reading i have a fan blowing on my plants which obvioulsy will educe temp to some extent when i put my hand on top of tallest plant whick is centerd under the bulb its not to hot at all just warm so maybe im getting an innaccurate reading ?.....

also i dont understand wtf a cool tube if id dsont stay cool WTF mother fuck im up shit creek with not muthafucking paddle becuase its to late to go out but anything thll cool of my little crapily rigged thing only thing i can do its take off the mylar and let it be open is this going to affect the amounth of growth?

alright hweat issue has been contained 50 dollars later small ac uunit colling room down to 78 lights on plants only 12' from light also prior plants where not burning while this close to light
