Hi all
I am a newbie to growing ,I did a lot of research but apparently not enough I spent top dollar on this equipment and cant do it right I really need help with this before my og dies.
I have a 4x4x6 grow room I have a air cooled reflector connected to a vortex 6 in exhaust fan,the other side of the hood is not connected I have no active intake.
How can lower the temp immediately.
I was so pumped about this grow now I'm kind of regretting getting this ,please help.

you NEED a direct intake and exaust with a room that small. mines 5x4 and 8' tall and i have a 1000W in there with no problems, thats because i have a 150-Cf squirlcage blower for intake and a vortex exause.

IMHO intake/exause is just as important as lighting, i spent $500 on my intake/exause......but its perfect

if you're unable to increase your ventilation rate, it's going to be tough
you could put a small fan at the top of the room, and point it down - this will mix the air more thoroughly and maybe bring down the peak temp a bit - if the room temp is already the same all over, then this won't help

This is the way to go.Air movement is absolutely crucial,so get one to exhaust the room. That should help immensly

Cheap alternative go buy a 20 inch fan costs about $20-$30, and tape a box to the back with a hole, wrap the back up with plastic so that it creates a vacuum and put that in the room with the other part of the tube going out into a cool room.

My room was about 100 degrees (f) and it dropped it down to about 78.

Here is a pic:

I keep the fans (intake and outake) on 24/7 and just have the light on a timer.
