Stupid question but is this going to interfere with the growing space for the plant? i know different strains grow different sizes but is the a rule of thumb?
Tent is 1.5m x 1.5m x 2.0m

i don't really want to reverse the carbon filter and put it in the loft as i want it vented through the roof vent so the heat is gone out of the house and it will be less noise ( Yes i know is not connected yet waiting on air cooled hood and ducting o_O:cuss:

Looks good
That big filter is nice. You can just refill it when the time comes.

Just a little update

Just finished hooking up the 6" ducting with all the new bits for anyone who has been helping and following

So here it is finished at last
Make sure that hood is sealed good. If you have to use heat resistant silicone or metal duct tape.

Any leak in that hood will let smell through.

Looks good. I like the setup.

Thank you

i have plenty of foil tape and plenty of fire resistant silicone joys of working on site ;) so thanks for the tips

filter is not taped on as of yet anyway was just placed there for pic purposes as the smell isn't bad yet its quite time consuming messing with all this but its all education at the end of the day

here is the plants i picked them up as clones in rock wool cubes 10th May and planted them in 10cm pots
replanted them into the 15 litre pots on the 17th May as roots were coming through bottom each day goes by and i see the little baby getting wider, taller and new leaves sprouting... its quite exciting o_O

Why not go to a sealed hood?
Hi Al, I noticed you mentioned you use 432 t5, thats what i got and my cab topped out at 122 F, I was wondering if I could friend you.
I was just testing the setup and it's obvious I have to make changes. The darn t5's are way hotter that I thought they would be.

33 C really isnt to bad, take a white piece of cardboard and place it over the plant, let it cover the pot all the way to the edges of the tent with just a hole for the plant, this will keep your roots cooler and take care of all you problems. It will reflect the light back up and your roots will be way cooler. As long as the roots are cooler 33 C is fine in my opinion.
