I don't know much about aero cloners but they could of got too much water, or it coulda be the absence of a dome?

Need more info on how you cut, where, and what you used, those are the biggest common factors

Fuck that looks like too much heat man, either that or Not enough humidity inside the dome. What kind of light you have it under? a few Flouresents shop lights or CFL light or two should be all you need to do clones 18/6 for 7 days.

CLONEX, I USED A USED RAZER.. CUT A A 45 DEGREE ANGLE THEN CUT THE MIDDLE OF STEM

Also was there atleast one node under the cloner? A cut must be made right below* the node and you place that below ur medium.

Goin back to deeptokin, definitely cfls are the best and you don't even need thelight directly on the plant.

Had my clones under (staggered to the side) a 400 wat MH, they wouldn't root till I placed them on my toilet in my bathroom with the lights on.

You can use a window to root as well. Just be sure it isn't too, too shaded. Place your dome on a chair by the window. I've done this when space was an issue. Eliminating all possibilities of failure is good too. What I mean is to take all the precautions you can. Develop a method to follow when cloning. Clean a tabletop, gather your utensils. Clean your utensils with fire or alcohol. Get a bowl of distilled water to make your final cuts under and make the transition from cut, to split (or scrape) to dab very quick and fluid. Good luck :peace:

Some strains can be a pain for sure but a lil extra effort might be worth it. If that is an aero cloner...no hormone is needed since it will wash off into res. You can use a few drops of bloom nutes or superthrive but nothing else is needed. I'd start by making sure everything is sterile and when making the 45 cut...do it under water and leave it there until it is ready to go into the collar. Sometimes scraping the lowest half inch of the clone with your scalpel helps stimulate root growth. Also, cut all the larger leaf tips by half while cloning to reduce transpiration. Use a humidity dome eventhough not needed for aero. Make sure to mist the clones 2-3 times daily for first 7-10 days.
I would switch to dim cfl lighting for cloning as mentioned...bright light will hinder the process. Most obvious...don't forget to keep pH in check. Don't give up just yet.

Are you keeping the leaves misted? I just use some rockwool in a little container my tomatoes came in, and some rooting hormone from walmart or somewhere.. Looks like you may be making it a little more complicated than it needs to be.

If you're having that much trouble get a dome. Honestly, its very simple. Just use seedling soil, starter pots and a window. Take it easy on the aero cloner until you get your groove, then switch back. Also, Clonex gel will not all wash off before it has done it's job, much of it is absorbed immediately by plant tissue. :peace:
