Help Clones!

I have just recently purchased an Ebb and Grow system and its all set up very nice, i have a 1000w HPS hanging about 6 feet from the buckets and my ph is about 5.8. My problem is i took cuttings 3 weeks ago and only 1 showed visible roots through the rockwool. I took this as a sign that the rest are ready to go so i put them all into the HP system. Its been 3 dys now and literally no change at all. Leaves aren't wilted but there is no new groth and the rockwool is SOAKED. I guess my question is, will the clones take eventually or are they just gonna slowly die ? i opend one up and they all had the begining of a root system... the small deformed NUB around the the bottom of the cutting. Any Help would be nice.

Firstly they will have to root more before growing. More roots equal more growth. You put them into the system a little too early I think. I usually wait till is see a good amount popping up usually 3 to 5 days after first visible sign of roots. Just wait it out. They will recover shortly. Good luck. Don't feed them too much at first.

Never seen an ebb and grow specifically but ebb and flow is great in that you can adjust how often it floods based on your situation. You don't want your medium soaked, cut back until it isn't, even if you have to make it like once every day or two.

My buddy had a shit load of problems with rockwool and jiffy pots. Switch to rapid rooters and you'll probably have better luck - you still can't soak them to death, but they are a lot more forgiving, and you can tell how wet they are super-easy by looking (they go from a light brown when dry to near-black when soaked)

Never had a prob with rockwool but the jiffy pots never worked for me. I use the rapid rooter plugs now....oh ya.....:weed:

Make sure the clones are deep enough in the ebb and grow so when the buckets are flooded the nutrients can reach the roots.

So its been about 3-4 days when i first typed up that post. 1 of the plants has roots throughout the bucket, the rest are literally the exact same as when i put them in... no wilting but definately no new growth. I will be taking more cutings today, and i was unsure if i should just give up on the clones in the system or if i should just let em roll and see if life finds a way?

honestly i would take the one that rooted and rock it out seperetly in a pot and cut new clones. if ur still gonna stick withplugs of some sort. get rapid rooters. they are way more user friendly than rockwool.

I love the rapid rooters or root riot. They are user friendly like Wheels says. I have no problems with rockwool, however the rapid rooters produce fine thick mutiple roots also they provide plenty of needed oxygen to the roots while rockwool won't if you squeeze them enough.
