HELP...Busted and Petrafied

hey Potsmokingjock, i`m in england i don`t know about the jock law, but the size of your grow room should go for you nyway because it just cant contain enough to amount up to a £1000, f*ck `em nyway, slap on the wrists, i to smoke it for my own ailments aswell and it also chills me when im stressed aswell, so win/win if u ask me! hope that it goed ok for you, life is worth mopre then that going to jail would probably not happen to you so try not to worry bro, you might just get a community order because u say that u have never committed a crime or been arrested then the judge might be pretty lenient and as far as i know that means no jail.

I am a wee bit worried aboot the lawyer, hes the duty lawyer that came to the station when i was detained, he seemed very posh and professional like but am sure most do. he offered to represent me, iv not yet asked him if he's experienced in many cases like this, was just a little bit put down when i told him the state of panic i am in, and how panic aint good for my condition. he said he cant see me till next friday like he jst wanted me off the phone. but then spose i understand they are busy.
think thats also why its effecting me so much, as a mentioned anxiety effects my life big time, due to ma epilepsy and the person it has made me, anxiety cozes me to have seizures and seizures coz me anxiety its a horrible circle... and this whole waiting to find ma fate game must be the most anxious feeling in the world so my seizures are effecting me bad at the minute ive been in bed most the day as I suffered a bad one in sleep aroond 4this morning, I hav bitten all the inside of my cheak, now my muscels are getting sore this is the point i would normally turn to weed for help but its not ther.. i really feel horrible. its hard for me to contemplate i have another month of this waiting with these horrible possibilities of what mite happen on my mind, i know i should be thinking positive, and i cant thank the folk on here enough because so far yous are the only folk that have helped make me relax.
IM LIVING PROOF FOLKS CANNABIS PREVENTS EPILEPTIC SEIZURES, iv told my doctor about this before he kind of smirked and changed the subject another one said they cant discuss it as they have no knowledge on the medical properties with epilepsy. im gonn try and write a good few pages secribing my self and my condition and how it effects me along with how cannabis helps me, il send this a long with a letter to prosecutor fiscal, il let my lawyer read it first, if they wish to check with my doctor that would be fine as the file on me in the doctors surgery must be massive..

cheers sticky im praying so, aye ma boxes wer small they left the boxes but took the cfls and my home made ballasts, basically a square bord of wood wi 4 foil covered flat bits of card board taped on the sides.. they took photos of the boxes like.

if he works for the courts your lawyer watch him they are always in cohoots with the proscuters remember they are a lot diufferent than a lawyer who is being paid by you and not the city trying to charge you

I'm not going to presume to know anything about Scottish law, I do have friends from there and they tell me that your situation will likely end with a fine. Incarceration is too expensive nowdays for minor offenses.

well his card says Public Defence Solicitors Office, the website says they are publicly funded, and there are some codes under his name I imagine are qualifications M.A hons LLB, dipLP
im not to clued up with lawyers etc, how would i know the difference if yi dnt mind me askin ?

cheers, yes the letter a was planning is more for the lawyer ad say, im just wanting to make sure the lawyer and the PF knows everything I have to say about it in other words scared they mite not hear my whole side of the story ..

ask him if hes working to become a crown procecuter but if its public paid hes not in it to win it for you hes payed by the people trying to charge you with it but like most haVE said youll just probably get a fine

or ask to know his win ratio for cases like yours or cases his office has handeled like your tht will tell you which direction the judgments are aimed and usually your not going to like it but if ya want to take your chances then dont ask !!!!!!!!!!! he has to show you his standings if you ask and i suggest you do !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!...............this is from facing my own problems with it i was facing 5 years + federal time but i asked myu lawyer what i told you and lets say i left that office running for my own lawyer he had a win ratio of 0 for my cases every one went to jail funny thing is i saw the crown a lil while after my ordeal sitting with my lawyer lauging and having lunch disscussing cases trust me public prosecuters are in bed with the crown a very well known fact !!!!!!!!!!!!

Try not too worry about it, a matey of mine recentley got stopped driving around london with a oz of weed and the police just took it and let him go saying the prisons are
full. So hopefully you get a little fine and some community. If weed helps your condition id say you Need to it and seek some medical advice... Good Luck

im deffo gonna get in touch with him in next couple of days and ask this, theres some well known lawyers in Edinburgh who have good reps with defending the working classes.. people i know who have committed actual crimes in the past, if only there was a way of looking up ones who specialise in the drug type cases... and that's exactly how the cops wer acting when they came in one came str8 to the room we wer in and put the cuffs on another one came thru after checking oot my boxes and said to him in an ironic tone taking the piss "its a forest" and his colleague was all excited like "what seriously" and he replied "wait till yi see it, an F-in forest" with a smirk on his face, they did say when i was moaning at them for picking on somebody like me that for all they knew it could have been a forest.and thats the ticket right there
a was still shocked tho when they came oot wi this potential crap that because there's 6 they have a potential value of a grand and a half... but stickystink made a good point i never thot of the size of my grow boxes is to small for 1 fully grown plant never mind 6, plus the clones i had wer in pathetic condition for example one of the pots wasn't even a litre as i was running out of soil when i potted them and the clone in it was 9th week flower and had around a gram of bad, they wer major root cramped disfigured.. and the second set of clones had disfigured leaves and never even looked like weed they wer a couple of inches high same the 2 seedlings had dry damage and hadn't developed proper leaves.. they wer deffo grabbing at straws as in the interview they produced the crushed fan leaf powder and said this was another class B drug yet its the leaves from the same weed in my jar that they produced ad as far as i was aware fan leafs dont hold much THC he claimed it tested positive as a class B drug. my girlfriend said in her interview they wer quizzing her to find oot what I used the leaf powder for.
another thing im not sure mite be a good sign or mite mean nothin, the lawyer on the phone before interview, it was her they told the value to she said there would be high chances i got kept in and woulde face court in the morning then after the interview the polis wer like this will deffo be an undertaker the lawyer informed me this ment bail with a court date..

just be careful to who you think and who you know is on your side and in this sadd world the only ones you can trust these days is very close family if your lucky and always trust the person your paying ........be vigilant use common sense do talk to others in the same boat as you and try not to stress soo much as i know that cant be good for your condition buddy

I like to think of Carl Sagan and how big the universe is. We are so small compared to everything else going on and happening out there. You should see a picture of Earth light years away. Then you begin to notice how unimportant we are. "Everything that has happened in human history took place on that small dot". This is all so temporary, don't ever dwell on anything, there's no point.

Secondly a couple of points. Your situation sounds very sympathetic. If could be newsworthy. Sometimes politicians/interest groups will get involved in special cases.
Next the defence you are choosing to pursue (the medical condition) could be a significant one if you can back it up peoperly. I'd start looking at THAT angle right now. Doctors, paperwork in relation to diagnosis and treatment etc.
If you could find a doctor to depose that MJ is your best medicine might be best of all.

Greetings my friend. I cant help with your legal questions but I am also a fellow epilepsy sufferer from the UK. Like you marijuana gives me the freedom of living that I simply wouldn't have without it. Stress and anxiety plays a big part in bringing on fits for us so first and foremost, try to keep calm and collected and remember to come here and talk to people if you need to. You can always PM me for a chat brother.
If it was me I would book an appointment with your consultant neurologist and explain your situation. I don't know if you have talked with your neurologist about using cannabis as supplemental to your meds in the past but my neurologist actually suggested it to me and like you, I have been fit free since using for this purpose.
Make sure you sleep well and if not, make a nice strong herbal horlics to get you off to sleep.
