you can buy somthing called bud rot stop... you should google it or i was told another way is to get some tweezers and a magnafier and pick all the rotting bud out but you have to make sure you get every bit out...but if you can i would go for the bud rot stop if you can

We were having this problem, the spouse just cut the whole bud off. We lost a good 1/3 of the plant. That plant's been doing shitty anyhow. There were only 1 or 2 on the other plants.

could be worms dude open up the nasty ass brown buds and look for eggs and shit you will a lot of time find the little bastards hiding in those nasty brown nugs too. (could be bud rot too I've never had it but I have had worms and that looks like the damage they cause.) but if it is worms get BT thuricide its a safe, cheap caterpillar killer you can spray it right on your nugs.

i was thinking bud worms as well, im now experiencing this problem outdoors, and the pics of those little dead calyxes and leaves is what mine looks like and its been dry lately here too. and i smoked the dead pieces of bud, i picked out little tiny pieces of poop looking things lol (dark tiny drops, a little bigger than a grain of sand in size) and it got me soo baked, the plant has pink hairs and smells like fruity pebbles, the bud didnt taste bad.

I wouldn't smoke that, but it is your lungs and health. You could inhale something really nasty in the form of a fungus related to either rot or budworm. Your call, but I sure wouldn't do it.

Peel the brown stuff off and look where the leaf meets the stem of the plant. I there a hole there? Thats where you will find the worm. I have the same thing on mine. Im able to check mine on a daily basis. When I didnt find a worm,I took a sewing needle and poked holes in the stem above the worm hole (They always move upwards I know its gotta be in there!). This way you can kill the worm without losing too much of the plant. The worms my plant gets arent green, the're tan with a brown head. I only find them hiding inside the stem. BT works well if the worms hang out ON the plant but mine are IN the plant. Im on the 43rd latitude. I suppose worms are different depending on where you live.Everyone talks about them, but not too much is mentioned about where the worms can be found on the plant.

Spread each bud out in morning so all the inside gets dry because theyll be moist from morning dew
Spread and shake

def bud worms dude had the same problem...find those fuckers...if your close to harvest, i myself found same type of budrot in my nugs about 2 weeks before harvest pickedmost of it out and the shit i couldnt get didnt even spread and infect the other buds like everyone says..once the budswere dry after hangin i easily removed the black nugget off the green healthy bud

dont be scared to dig deep man. get that rot out. it can spread like wilfire in the right conditions. ive had my fair share of bud rot problems. always try and cut a bit deeper than rot aswell. this is because the mold spores are still in there which you cant see. and will just start to spread all over again if the weather is right for it.

sorry if this has been said already. otherwise i hope this helps a little bit
easy dude and good luck :D

I lost 39 grams to bud rot on my first grow... it was bagseed.. four sativa, and one indica.... the dense indica bud was the victim of the bud rot... Had to cut to whole top off.. weighed it just to further the pain.. 39g wet.. ouch....

Look at it as a fungus... if you leave any of it on the bud, it will multiply and spread...

Get a fan on the buds.. if it is outside.. prune the bottom branches to allow proper air flow underneath..

Good luck

Get rid of it mate, got a bit there 2 weeks ago, nipped it at the bud so to say. Nothing since.

did you check over the rest of your plants/colas? You may have more.
