Hello!

After stashing away a good deal of seeds I've decided to try my hand at growing. Initially, I just figured I'd get a seed germinated, pop it into a pot, and set it in the window and see what happened. Suffice it to say, that poor little bugger didn't last very long. (Probably didn't help that I made the ever so common noob mistake of overwatering *cough*) So I got a bit more serious about it. My current set up isn't too much of an improvement over setting it in the window, but it's alot more controlled. I still haven't delved into soil pH, nutrients, or perfecting my own growing medium, but I'll get there eventually.

Having gotten off to a rocky start already, I'm still not holding out much hope for my 'green thumb,' but we shall see!
