I cut a couple of Ass Cheese {donkey kong X cindy's blue cheese} this week. One of them was real close, if not ready. Everything else I cut has been at least a week or two early. But after losing 4/5ths of my Poly Shunk 1 to rot, I'm kind of gun shy. No way for me to check daily, so I chopped half a dozen last week.
Cut your losses and run. Yuppp lol

I'll be lucky if I have anything to harvest next weekend. My dad seems to think it's Ok to help himself and pick off leaves and buds from my plant. Dick move

I could live with the leaves, but buds are another story. Maybe he thinks he raised you and everything, so. . . . .

He just has no boundaries. Drives me nuts. I wanted to wait til we were ready to go further south to buy a house but I'm reconsidering. I have to keep my doors locked or he just walls walks right in. He's walked right into my bedroom before

Tell him you sprayed it with with a nasty pesticide/fungicide with the intentions of it being harvested at a date that allowed the chemicals to break down into a safe range for smoking....so he might want to wash the bud really good and wait a while for it to break down on its own.

I told both my husband and my roommate to tell him off if theycatch him. Theyve been trying not to say anything because they didn't wanna rock the boat but that shit is not acceptable. We pay rent, therefore it's my property and he needs to be respectful of that. I told him I'd help him out by giving him some when I harvest, but I got plans for most of it so he needs to chill

I hate to hear that. How is your weather up there?
Pretty good, sunny and 70's but it gets so damn cold at night that my plants are drenched in the mornings. Had to clip a couple parts but I'm hoping the rest of it will hang on til at least the middle of next week, there was a top where the stem was rotted

Clean your scissors and hands after each cut with H2O2. Some even spray the stem where the rot was with it.

She's swelling so much! Really wanna get closer to another week of growing but we'll see how the rot situation goes 20170923_150844.jpg20170923_150910.jpg

Tomorrow makes 8 weeks flowering. So I'd like to make it til next weekend, she still seems to be getting frostier by the day lol. We've got potentially 3 days of rain coming starting Wednesday though... and since I've already got rot I'm a little afraid.

My other plant is only about 5 weeks into flowering so I'm just riding it out with that one, she's gonna have to deal with the elements til probably close to the end of October

All white hairs left, they prob need three weeks yet, even at 8 weeks they aren't ready. Sometimes outdoors mature on there own schedule according to the time of year and temps etc or atleast that's my opinion. GL
The trichomes tell a different story though. Mostly cloudy on the buds and I'm already seeing amber popping up in the buds.

Also it's not all white hairs, but she keeps sprouting new ones. I'm not sure if that's normal or not? Our Temps here were really cold (low 60s daytime and 30s at night!) then we got another heat wave and it's been upper 70s and low 80s daytime and 50s at night. Could the Temps be playing a part in this or is it a genetics thing to keep growing new pistils this late?

You wanna look at the calyxs and there doesn't appear to be too many swollen cslyxes at all. The trichomrs on the leaves will mature faster. I know trichomes are vital but I personally wouldn't even look at trichomes if the bud looked immature . Gl

There's a lot of them. They look swollen to me but I'm not very experienced but I'll take pics in a few minutes .

What do you think? I included a pic of the top of my main cola without flash so you can see the brown pistils better. She'll be 9 weeks next weekend. We really don't have much favorable growing weather and I've already had to chop some of her due to bud rot. Like I said before my other plant is a few weeks behind so I don't have much choice but to leave that one til the end of October , but this girl is already rotting so I don't wanna lose half my harvest, ya know? I'm just not sure how to proceed 20170924_084818.jpg20170924_084510.jpg20170924_084753.jpg

It's all up to the rot at this point but I'd say two weeks by the looks of it.
