Happens in a lot of countries. A small setup with a 250w HID or multiple CFL setups should go under the radar as it's less than what a gaming PC or TV with an xbox/ps3/wii would use. Even pool pumps use ~1kw motors. I don't see how in developed countries having a personal grow setup could attract any attention, even with smart meters. Big setups is a different story.

CG. Is this the Mishteret Yisrael that investigates? Don't you guys have enough going on in your country without them worrying about somebody growing pot? Unbelievable!! Stay safe, my friend. Shalom.
