Out in the wilds where gorilla grows happen, there aren't any other wet spots. Nobody is watering the forest, only the pot plants!

God luck man

Are you serious? That's a grape farm....The ground stays saturated with water. You actually think a little bit of water on a few wood plants will be detected? LOL

Yes, I know it does. Especially when it's the only wet spot in a dry landscape. Think about it, those vinyards are already saturated & you could still see the leaks. Imagine out where it's all bone dry, how much any wet spots show up. "Like a sore thumb"! They fly along dry hills & look for any wet spots that should not be there. Don't underestimate these guy's, they are desperatly trying to find you. They use everything they can, & FLIR technology makes it very easy.

Good luck bro, keep laughing

I seen some show on cnbc called marijuana usa and they was showing the cops look for pot plants in kentucky. Their high tech gadget was accualy their own eyes they didnt have any cameras or other stuff they just flew around looking at the ground for plants. just what i seen. I mean cnbc isnt very credible.

Dude, who in the hell would plant ANYTHING where it is completely dry? Farmers can blend their MJ in with other veg and gorilla growers usually plant around other tress, plants, shurbs, and etc. which retain water. A person with a few plants here and there will not be "found out" so easy. I mean FFS dude MJ doesn't need that much water. Detecting less than half a gallon of water per plant on MJ plants from a HELICOPTER is a bit much even with FLIR. I'm sure if you are growing HUNDEREDS/THOUSANDS of plants then sure, but the small grows that people do are insignificant. Also, what about people that DON'T grow marijuana, but have gardens? They show up no different than a MJ opp. I guess you expect every copter to check out every little garen someone has. As stated before.... Copter fuel isn't cheap and isn't worth law enforcement time to look for someone growing a few plants in a "needle in a hay stack" type of situation. Besides copters can't comb every single inch of the planet every grow season. The reasoning with some of you is just crazy. Save the "keep laughing" scare tactics and sarcasm for someone that doesn't know any better pal.

marijuana reflects light higher at certain wavelenghts then native crops. they shoot these wavelenghts at the ground and read the reflective signature. marijuana is VERY distinct. google "how to cover marijuana reflective signature"

but there is no 100% way to cover it. plant in small patches and space them far. and dont leave any incrimininating evidence behind.
they look for it by eye i know boy's in the gaurd that fly with them.

I know for a fact outdoor pot plants give a heat sig. it's the fertz we use, and flir is actively use in places like HI. I also know they use there eyes more than anything. But I also know using common sense is the best tool we have, and when used properly we win. They will also use planes for spotting and heavy duty binoculars. Just be careful and above all Do Not Tell a Single Sole about your grow. By far the biggest bust factor are people stumbling onto your grow and reporting it. I was talking to Detective down if Fl, we were both sailing that is how we met, anyway he told me down in Florida the number one biggest bust factor for "drug dealer's" were scorned ex-girl friends, yep the ex. I guess the saying might be true it is cheeper to keep them lol. Anyway good luck, and remember to share with those less fortunate.

so i was a GIS guy in college and one of my professors worked for some govt agency that was using plant signatures to detect pot grows. he said that the reflective signature of pot stands out pretty well and that the only plant in my area that can camoflauge herb is poison oak. I believe him for sure and will be gettin pretty close and personal with some poison oak this summer.
