Heavy Buds

I am a bit worried that my girls wont finish due to being too heavy. I am on week 8 and the buds have gotten so heavy that I am having to tie the branches up to keep them from tipping the plants over. Lots of red hairs, but the trichomes are mostly clear to milky. Should I just keep tying them up and let them go another couple weeks? 2 days ago, I took them down to only 10 hours of light they started getting very heavy very quickly. Is trichomes the only way to tell if they e done?

Support your girls, and they will return all it all. They have dense colas, do a quick check for any mold, just so you can say you did and that its covered and checked off. (The insides of the large colas is where I would look through, quickly and carefully). More ties, and more time.

Yeah that's what I figured. I don't think there is mold. I have been fanning them in a nice dry room. Not too much water. This is only my second grow and still unsure about a lot things. Bad part is, I am not sure the strain of these. I stopped growing for about 2 years and had some seeds from back then, lost track of which are which. I think these might be a pure sativa strain. Wish there was a way to tell. Anyhow thanks guys, ima let them go another 2 weeks.

as stated, prop them up. the last couple weeks is when the inside fills in, really adding weight. the leaves that i could see look like a sat./indic. mix of some kind. you still have a little way to go. when you start seeing amber, you may want to start thinking about final flush. looking good!!!

i like bamboo myself but anything to prop them up is good! ive recently started using netting on everything and its the best. better light distribution from the scrog and it supports everything for yah.

If you look towards the ceiling you will
notice some black yo yo
looking things.

They are cheap retractable hooks on fishing line.
They last a few cycles but I love them.
