well I dont know how I would fit that in this trailer let alone explain it to the ole lady....lol!
It goes outside, just like an AC condenser. Tell the ol lady it heats your trailer with the same heat your shedding from the grow room.

Also keep in mind the lift height of the system puts a load on the pump. The closer to equalizing the res/radiator to the light bar heights the better.less load=less wattage +longer life of pump

That's a heater core from a car with a server fan that is ac not dc......if u want to super chill the coolant simply use a window unit air conditioner up against ur radiator instead of a fan.

U Can plumb the heat to anywhere u want like outside ur house in the summer and inside your house or grow room during winter

This effect is minimized if supply and return lines are equal height; the water coming back down will help the draw.

Putting the radiator against an AC unit will not 'super cool' the water, but it will clog up airflow for the AC unit, which will then lose performance.

If you want cold water, you need a chiller. There's really no way around it unless you have a year round source of unlimited cooling such as a river or deep well.

just treat a COB like a cpu.. i love using cpu coolers for my chips. maybe someone might even think of putting one onto a water block

It's been done. CPU cooler just does the same job as an air to air heat sink. If you want to remove the heat from the space, you need something bigger.

And if youre not into spending thousands and thousands on a water cooling setup, you can DIY one out of a window AC or dehumidifier for fractions of the cost...

That was my idea for the 4 I had.....60-70 a pop for some nice cpu blocks...lol!

I was going to go all out as I have the pumps radiator hoses clamps everything except 3 more blocks..Basically my back up stuff for my Computer which is custom water cooled. The radiator covers the entire top of that Corsair case and those are 200mm fans.

Glad I changed my mind.

I was going to go all out as I have the pumps radiator hoses clamps everything except 3 more blocks..Basically my back up stuff for my Computer which is custom water cooled. The radiator covers the entire top of that Corsair case and those are 200mm fans.

Im going to use CPU water blocks on my next project, but theyll be hooked up to an actual cooling setup not the tiny little cooling setup that youd use inside a computer. Just eliminating the need to make a block out of aluminum tubing.

meh I would use better than junk.

I have a dual pump as a spare that would have no problems pumping water for 4 cobs.

The biggest thing is the radiator....which I already know which one id get :)

You might want to look into a simple car radiator though, cheaper and more cooling than any PC radiators youll find. The one you pictured looks like its just 3 standard 360mm PC radiators attached together, which will run you probably $90+...

I used one 360mm pc radiator for a build project and Id say it dissipated roughly ~200w of heat, maybe a little less. Food for thought.

I would make something I could do overkill so I could add a few more of them later.

Here's a guy who gets it.

I'm running my chips, 96 of them, at 55F with this chiller;

This same chiller also cools my grow spaces, and the heat rejected is put into a hot water circuit. This hot water circuit completes the dehuey cycle and provides nighttime heating in my growroom- and heats my home and domestic hot water.

Same electric apple, two bites; COB LED drastically improves lighting efficiency and integrated dual circuit HVAC system does the same thing for climate management in various independently managed spaces throughout my home.
