I know we have some hvac guys around here. I have 3 year old Vitodens mod/con boiler running FHW heat and indirect hot water for tap. The boiler first feeds into a low loss header with a vent on the top. Twice in the last couple months, that I've noticed, it's blown water out this vent. It was on cooler nights when I had the window next to it open. Any idea what's going on? No other signs of leaks, failure, issues.
I was thinking, since my heat isn't running because it's summer, the whole system cooled down overnight, especially with the window open, lowering pressure, so the auto fill let some water in, and when I put a demand for hot water on it in the morning, the system heated up and and then over pressurized and released?
