1st grow and its already getting a little complicated lol. Im getting some strange edge burn along the serrated edges on two of the top leaves. purple stems and slight blotchy pigmentation is also going on in the lower older 3 finger leaves (although very small amount and can be somewhat seen in DSF3224.jpeg). New node/leaf growth at the very top is slow almost completely stagnated for 3ish days and has a dark purply shriveled black tinge to the tips. I calmag'd water flushed PH 6.3 yesterday night and noticed a bit of growth this morning which is encouraging. What could be going on here guys? Is it Potassium? PH?

Medium - Coco perlite 70-30
Time since germination - 36 days
PH - ~6.3

I’m thinking the soil has a little too much of I’m guessing Phosphorus which can be a little to much for plants in Veg. But other than that bro your looks good, twisting new growth is common happens to the best of us, it can also be a mutant plant genetic, but it doesn’t matter your plant looks good, I even have some twisting on my new growth as well right now.

I calmagged the coco but thats about it really. Once i transplanted onto this pot im using now, added a handful of general potting mix to cover the main stem/root area. Other than that no other ammendments. Only nutes/water/ocassional calmag boosting.

from about week 3-week 4 i fert feed every watering. (this may have lead to some nute burn so i backed off with the over feeding). But this new leaf edge burn only appeared after i flushed the plant with calmagged water. But just as the burn appeared the plant also jumped back into growth mode and the tips are growing again. What do you reckon?

Okay, I would say add a little cal mag every few feedings if not every other, other than that your plants look great honestly, good job! That’s all.

Ya the minor over fert did its damage to that leaf, the cal mag with water actually helped it.

Also plants in coco especially mature ones tend to drink up water in coco quick, coco has good drainage and oxygen it’s great, the coco coir fibres also retains water really good, but that water gets absorbed by the vibrant and vigorous roots of coco plants quick , once you see that plants stalk yet thick and start to really vegetate you’ll see what I mean haha, I’m not sure if you already knew you might have but sheesh do they drink.
