Heat stress at flowering?

Hey there.

Blue Mystic is my strain.
Growing soil.
Tomorrow would be full six weeks of flowering, but it seems some of the buds are getting smaller (hairs wrapping in the calyx I guess). Do you think flowering was too fast because of the heat? Temps during daytime were running from 86 to even 95. At some point peaking even 98.

Flowering for strain is 8-9 weeks... What should I do? Should I wait for another week I flushed a week ago, but I continued fertilizing and thought of flushing today for the last time and continue just with water. Here are some pics.

First two pics is one bud, and last one is another one. Same plant.

Next time start your lights in the night time to combat the temps

It is a lot cooler during the night time to keep those temps down

Keep feeding them They have a ways to go. If anything the high temps slowed growth.
so those calyxes will produce more pistils and not just close in and just stay there? Im just afraid that by the end all those calyxes will have pulled in their pistils :( I will get magnifying glass to check on trichs.

Good idea. And from experience, temps that high (without co2) will increase your times by a few WEEKS
yeah, and I tried making that CO2 generator to boost the bud growth ->
https://www.rollitup.org/general-marijuana-growing/258474-homemade-co2-guide.html
but it just sits stale and does nothing... what seems to the problem? after shaking it seemed that it had some little bubbles... btw - any yeast will do? I bought also yeast for wine or smth. maybe I should try that one instead?

you can clearly see in pic 3 that three seeds are forming in the calyx, pull one out & see, it will be hard. Its easy for a pollen sac to burst as sometimes there hidden within the buds.

no it doesnt mean its a hermie as alot of people seem to think on this site. A full hermie shows pistols and pollen sacs, a plant that has been stressed can ALWAYS release a stay male banana as a last resort to carry on the genes. A male plant could have released pollen without you noticing, or your female pollenated herself due to stress or genes.

It will still be smokerable but it may have a few seeds in the bud.
