heat questions

what gets heat out better inline fan or ducting fan
also i was going to look into a cool tube... but they look like they would only light up a small area

Cool tubes do concentrate the light to the middle a bit. I use two, but have a long thin grow room, so the concentration suits me. If you remove the in-tube reflector and just use an outer one then the light distribution is fine
As for the fans, it all depends on quality imo, which depends on £/$....

Knowing what I know now, and if my grow tent wasn't a weird shape, I'd always buy a hood rather than a tube.
The 2nd picture is exactly how my lights, fan etc is set up. Works fine.

same .. if I schould start over I wouldn't hesitate a sec. to get a kool hood/tube .. and I live in Scandinavia .. we dont have that high temps

I even build one myself



just made it last week and still in Veg under my T5HO so have`t tryd it yet .. hopefully it will make my room drop from +85F to 80-82F
