Heat press for rosin tech?

Hello,
Has anyone used large heat press instead of heat iron for rosin tech? Seems like it would work really well, with duel adjustable heat plates 5" or more and price starting at about $200 you could process more efficiently.

There are currently quite a few full size presses available. They have pneumatic and hydraulic. You can also make your own with a press and heated plates. But none of it is under $200.

You can easily build a 2 ton arbor press rig for under $200. I built a 1 ton press for $135.

Them little tshirt presses are not much better then a hair iron imo. The higher pressure need to use real low temps isnt achievable on those units.

I have a 10 ton press and have found that you really never need more than 2 or 3 tons

Whats the lowest temp you are using on flowers?

It would be cool to produce a heat/pressure/yield/quality chart for rosin tech but it seems to depend a bit on strain. With a one ton press I don't like the yield or pressing time required on flower at 160F, but the quality is great. At 200F I lose a little flavor, not a lot, but get much better yields. By 220F I no longer find the trade off in improved yield and shorter pressing time worth the decline in quality.

The dunce cap fits well on you Chucky, we all know you are a B grade troll around here. Take the LED grow light for an example, there is tons of research you can do but much of the claims are hardly true. Going through hundreds of product reviews that could potentially be fake (they are usually on the site you are buying it from) but who cares about that right.
