Healthy leaves usually have a little shine, that thin protective coating that makes the water bead up nicely, etc, mine don't have that. Theyre color is a good green but has looks mat/tern instead of shinny/glossy have anyone grown such strains before (dont know which kind is mine) also could there be ?

youll get difference on some strains, i did a barneys diesel and it had leaves like leather and then other strains were as your describing. dont worry about it as long as they are green and healthy you should not have any worries!

Personally, I like the "flat" green tint to my leaves. It tells me that they are absorbing the light they are given, and not reflecting it. Although, I am sure there is a great balance between glossy and absorbent, I'd rather my plants not look glossy.

As long as the leaves don't droop, they are healthy.

Like others said, strain specific. Maybe heavier sativas have the glossy look and heavier indica have the dark green leathery look and feel

some first hand experience for those people with the same question that i had: the leaves on my plants started getting glossier with time on the newest growth. hope this will bring you answer on a website where myth surpasses by farrrrr first hand experience, and those with it tend not to bother sharing it, hence the prevailing of more myths and their consolidation.
