Called this morning to get an update and was told it was approved and sent off in the mail today. As a side note, I opted out of LP starting materials, I also wasnt part of any of the former programs either for anyone wondering about the whole needing to get LP starting materials
Thanks for the info, I was wondering if anyone had checked "no" for starting materials that wasn't in any other program. That's awesome.

They can take the injunction away at any time AFAIK. IDK, I thought about not doing it but I am consuming more now than I was when I signed up so I wanted an increase in dosage.
They cannot just 'take away' the injunction. The whole AMCPR program is an attempt to lower plant counts prior to legalization and I won't be duped. My 10g /day and 49 plants will be grandfathered, imo, but I will not be asking a doctor or HC for permission.

I've read alot over the boards and it seems august 25th 2017 is when mmar is no longer valid. Someone I'd think to believe told me 1st hand they called HC number and this is what he was told. Someone could confirm quickly..

The mmar is not and has not been valid for some time according to HC. Those not covered by the injunction may be given a date to sign up for the amcpr, but it won't affect those currently protected by the injunction, imo. It remains in effect until Phelan decides otherwise.

the injunction won't go away until someone applies to have it varied or lifted altogether.
no one but either the Crown or CONroy would know when they are going to apply to have it lifted

So I call in today a few weeks after sending off my renewal paperwork and it sounds like a get a little old lady answering the phone who needs a few minutes to review my information to confirm my identity.
finally she gets my information. I tell her I sent in my renewal(my drs office fucked up and my registration lapsed) and all she can tell me is something is in the mail.
She legitimately sounded mentally challenged. Seriously, i do not mean this as an insult.
I'm a little disturbed my health information is behind handled by someone who totally sounded out to lunch.
All she could tell me is I should be getting something in the mail soon. She told me nothing more.

since when does a supreme court injunction have a time limit?
The amount of bullshit that comes out of HC these days is really astounding. That date they gave you is complete garbage, I feel really bad for anyone who has to deal with the HC phone staff these days.

The injunction remains in place 'until further order of the court'. The government is free to, at any time, petition the court to lift it (I don't see Conroy et al ever doing that). So yes, it can be taken away, at which point if you are caught, you will be before a judge without any exemption from the CDSA.

The MMAR has not been valid besides the injunctees since 2014, anyone telling you otherwise is sadly misinformed.

Allard et al is at the BC Federal level, not the SCoC. Smith vs HMTQ is the only MMJ case that has been heard by Canada's highest court. There is no time limit to the injunction. It stands until either side petitions the court to have removed or amended. If that doesn't happen before Rec, pinks will be grandfathered, and the injunction virtually stands forever...IMO.

I checked no and wasnt part of the previous programs. Got my license yesterday
When had you sent yours into them, I'm now waiting on there processing for the second round.

and checking yes vs checking no to obtaining starting materials....I checked yes thinking I had to obtain starting materials threw HC for registration...if they have anything put together at this time..

I know I don't want too ideally...I checked the yes as a "the right answer"

am I wrong to think this just gives me another option of getting material threw HC?
