- Is the collection moving along OK?
Well Rrog a few generous folks jumped on the bandwagon early that morning when a compassion 'collection' was first mentioned, but not a soul since. If anyone has any ideas on how to politely stir-the-troops, like incentives  or anything, i'm sure we're open to suggestions. Anything helps, all the love adds up! It is my belief that four digits (or more), before x-mas or the new year, can be raised as a nice 'kind-buders-unite' goal. Although this may be a challenge, as we've only had three donors total. :eyesmoke: Stow may be seeing him Sunday,,
Any ideas on how to best help our Woodsman - go for it broseph, let's hear from ya ;). thanks everyone.. peace

Abe:

Woodsman gifted me some beans last time I was out to see him. It's a cross he made himself. Fire Alien x Qush. He calls it "FAQ", which imo is the best strain name ever! When I get baked I tend to ask the same questions over and over. :-)

I know you're tight with the folks at the garden club, and was kicking around an idea .....

I'd like to germinate these beans, and if there is something good to be found perhaps set something up with them to put aside the proceeds of these clones to go towards helping woodsman and his son. I haven't fully thought through the logistics of this, but thought I'd throw it out there and have you see if they would be receptive to this.

I love the thought of woodsman's genetics directly helping him and his son. Even though he is physically unable to work, his *work* would still be providing for his family.

I'm not sure if it will do any good but I've got a couple ladies that aren't looking too hot that I was thinking about pulling early and making bubble. I doubt I'll find the time so I could donate them if they're wanted. They don't have any diseases or bugs, just a little neglected during firearm season opening day weekend and they haven't recovered like the others. Apparently the two strains couldn't handle it so well. The strains are Critical Mass and Kerala Krush.

Anyway, I'll be heading to traverse city from the grand rapids area tomorrow morning. Not sure where woodsman is located but I can meet up after I'm done in TC (late morning or early afternoon) as long as it's not too far. I could also hand them off to someone woodsman says is ok. I could drop it off on the way if anyone is able to meet up near 131 but I have to be to TC pretty early(before 9:30)

Well I'll check on here before bed and again in the morning to see if they're wanted and if we can get them over there. Tomorrow is the only day I'll be on the road for a while but I'll save the ladies for a couple days in case anyone wants to grab them from me in GR.

OK Riu michigan has met it's goal.
Woodsman will in-fact receive a warm 1000$ holiday donation this season from us all here. *Thanks to all kinds of folks pitching-in whether it was visiting him or w dinero. Also thanks to all the loving gathering of supplies like medicine, toys, clothing, etc... It all adds up in a big way!! i believe you've really helped brighten someone's day.

Had a nice visit with woodsman today. He's in good spirits and looks to be in good hands with his caretaker. Got to go through some photos of his time in Alaska. Beautiful country. I can now see why he wants to retire there. Also saw some great shots of his little man .... very cute!

Looking forward to the next time bro....
