k so the search engine for this thing sux so im gonna post a thread in hopes of responses... im growing a few headbands now... sum r 3 weeks in flower and sum r still in veg for moms.... rooting sucess for clones is not as fast as i thought seeing as they claim roots in 8-10 days... im on 2 weeks and 1 has roots... the 1s in flowering, wow what a stretcher.. far spacing between nodes... i put them in at 18 inches and they r at about 4ft... had to bend them over all kinds... they seam stretchy and lanky so im curious to see the yeild as they dont seem like they r gonna be able to hold big nugs on theyre own... i was gonna sog this strain but now im thinkin twice on that idea due to the stretch... whos growing this? what can u tell me bout her???

do a bit of LST and possibly try to ScROG it near the top since its stretched so badly

this may help you get a bigger yield

also the cola may be bigger and your plant wont fall over due to the screen holding the top of the plant up.

first off there are more then one cut of the Headband!!! here is some info for ya to look at

Headband, Headband Diesel, Humboldt Headband, 707 Headband, West Coast Headband
”Headband is supposedly a cross of OG Kush (a pheno of Chemdawg) and Sour D [(Chemdawg x Mass Super Skunk/NL)x DNL] which are both very popular in the Cali club scene.”
“Headband Diesel = [Super Skunk X Sensi Northern Lights] X Chem /dawg”
original headband is very potent because of the chemdawg 1991 influence..the 707 headband is og kush x sd 2 more chem related genetics..i would say headband is 25-30%thc depending on the which cut..”
Ya – I’ll conjure to say Headband is probably a really old school cut of OG that’s been held closely by growers in Norcal, namely in the 707 area. It’s the most diesel smelling of anything OG, it’s definitely one of the most disorienting highs usually, and follows with a big energy drop – good if you are dealing with a lot of pain and can’t sleep “

delta has a point too, where did you get the seeds?

do you know exactly which strain it is?

also what is your setup? (needed if you want someone to tell you estimates)

im not really sure where they were bred... my buddy grew it in his garden (not sure which breeder but it is a "so-called" headband.. im thinkin reserva prada) and it produced a cpl seeds... this strain was the only strain in his garden so it hasnt been crossed... my set up is 6 T5s in an areo setup for 2-3 weeks veg, then into my 8x8 flowering room on a 3 week cycle... in the flowering room theres 24 dwc bins and 1800 watts... 2 400s covering 8 bins consisting of 6 plants per for the first 3 weeks... they then get moved to the 1000 thats on a rail and covers 16 bins, agn with 6 plants in each for the remainder of there life... im hopin that humbolts bushmaster will stop the stretch

the plant probably seeded itself as far as i no the Headband, Original Diesel, and other Diesels are prone to put out bananas later in flower sometimes early in flower.
my
Original Diesel will put out banana's every grow but they are mostly non-viable!! i only had one pollination problem myself one seeded another OD so i got 3 OD s1 seeds.
and a buddy had it hit his KKSC thats were the clone only SCUD comes from = Strawberry Cough x Ultimate Diesel(KKSC x OD) its a great 50/50 representation of both
Strawberry and Diesel. its better then Rez's SD or DSD its a true Straw-D huge yields of great smelling and tasting bud :joint: :fire:

you should be okay as far as the stretch but if it doesn't work you can always try a screen.

however, that's not a bad setup you have there
