Hey guys,
I've been planning on making a grow journal for a long time, however, I was too lazy to start one. Now that I have some material to start with, i decided to finally make it.
First off, the information:
- I've got a grow tent in my basement (60 cm on 60 cm on 180 cm). I chose this location for it's temperature
and the ventilation. The tent has a 250 w hps with all standard equipment (fan, little fan, mylar, adjustable hangers etc.).
- A root pouch (comparable to the smart pot). The roots get lots of air in combination with the light soil mix I put into it. The drainage is awesome as well; makes flushing a breeze.
- Some standard grow nutes and biobizz bloom nutes (along with all sorts of hydrophonic nutes i got with the tent package; should help if I get a deficiency of some sort as it contains Pk booster, CalMg etc.).
- A tachyon disc (don't know if any of you know it). Decided to put this under my pot to potentially boost my plants grow rate and yield a bit.
To start off, in this first post i'll put pictures i've made in the plants life course (approx 1 month).
The close ups you see of the top was a FIM attempt, which unfortunately failed. In the tenth pic you can see the progress of the TOPping attempt I did later (it's working out well I guess).
Furthermore, a week ago (a week from the latest pic) I did an attempt to defoliation. Many people find it to be controversial, but my results are speaking for themselves I suppose. I did my first defoliation a few days before the tenth pic was taken. I personally believe in this technique and plan on doing this all the way to the harvest.
Anyway, every few days I will update this with pictures, be it with succes, problems, doubts or whatever, as this is only my second grow...i can use all support I can get
Background info:
Last summer I did my first grow. This consisted of 10 regular skunk-haze plants, from which i kept 3 after i sexed them (gave 2 away as it is only legal to keep 1 for each 18+ person in your hosuehold). These ended up okay (got 25 grams of them). This is only normal as they were autoflowers and they were grown with the full aid of mother nature. It was fully natural and tasted fantastique
Because the weather here can be unpredicatble, I chose to buy a tent and continue growing indoors.
Now, please, anything.... ranging from tips to critique to compliments or whatever, post away
