Hey, don't you think the electric company is gonna notice your drastic increase in electricity. Not hating, I just kinda wonder this myself.

Just found your grow, love the setup. It sucks what happened but it looks like you were able to get things under control.

subbed.

how is the recovery going? any flowering pics yet?
there was no recovery. disease spread to all the other plants. i think i might have gotten bugs. they seemed to live in the dead leaves to infect the healthy plants. i bombed the grow area. even my clones were affected. i have serious doubts about the viability of any future grows. i consider this operation all but over.

It’s been awhile and I didn’t think there would be a next time, to be honest. Things weren’t looking good for my grow op. About a dozen beautiful plants died of some sort of illness, probably overfeeding. A few clones survived my naivety. They have survived a few months without artificial light, living off sunlight on my southern windows. They survived without much food or water, while too hot and too cold. These are the survivors. They showed sex and all but one was female. A little more growing after that and it’s flowering time. The first night of flowering was 12/7/10.

I also planted 8 more seeds. They are numbers 23-30. Of those 8, 2 have not survived. #30 never thrived. It was the slowest growing seed and just stopped growing and died. #24 met the same fate except it made it further along before dying. Things are looking good again!

Looking great bro. I bet they're starting to smell pretty strong right now... what's your odor control situation? also, what are you feeding them?

They are just starting to smell now. The fastest plant, 1701, is going to be done within 2 weeks. The other 2 plants, 702 and 703, are 2-3 weeks from finishing. Odor control isn't an issue. The room is contained enough to keep the smell away from anyone who would care. I have been feeding them some MG plant food and also blackstrap molasses since flowering.

The operation continues to progress. Last night, I viewed #1601's buds with a usb camera and saw all cloudy trichs with ~10% filling with amber. She was placed in in a dark cabinet where she will remain for about 48 hours. After that, she will be cut down and hung upside down in a dark cabinet or box to begin the initial curing process. I plan to continue that for 48-72 hours. Then she will be trimmed and placed in mason jars for a few weeks until smokable.

The other plants, #702 and #703, also are making progress. #702 is the lesser of the two plants due to an illness suffered earlier in veg. It is basically finished, struggling to add weight with it's skinny frame. #703 may be the best plant of them all. It is not the biggest plant but it is the nicest - no nute burn, lots of bud sites, lots of bud per site. It appears to be 7-14 days away from harvest. She has mostly cloudy trichs with some still clear. There is no indication of amber trichs.

The next generation continues to grow well. The tallest plant is about 12" tall. I also just Fim'd that plant. I will post results when they are available.

I harvested #1601 a few minutes ago. Pics may follow. She responded well to 48+ hours of darkness well by putting out a lot more sugar on her leaves. She is now hanging upside down, in a box, where she will remain for the next 48-72 hours or so or until her stems snap under pressure. The other two plants are rapidly finishing up. They will be done within a week, to then enter the darkness and drying in a box phase. Does anyone out there have any curing tips to offer? or critique of my processes?

The plants in the veg room continue to impress. The Fim'd plant has already started pushing the new tops up, after being stunned for a day or 2. The others continue to grow. The Fim'd plant is 12" tall, the others are 10-12" tall. I am thinking of keeping one a permanent mother while flowering the other 3. I have a goal for the grow. For the 2x series, my goal is 4 oz per plant (12-16 oz depending if i flower 3 or 4 plants.)

I just got done carving up #1601. The total take is 18.5 grams wet. The bud is in a mason jar and the daily burping starts tomorrow. Plants #702 and #703 are almost done but seem to have trouble finishing.
