i have two indoor plants witch are at week 5 budding but my one plant started growing again after a few weeks witch the buds just got fatter and fatter the plant started to shoot again and now all my buds have short little new growth on the top of the buds every day its getting taller and taller should i just chop it down or should i leave it to just grow until all the buds are done i just don't want my section to get all fluffed out and so on its quite compact at the moment and i want it to stay that way any info on this matter will be much appreciated i hope this is not a bad thin will post pics a bit later

show us some pics, foxtailing is normal and happens sometimes, the buds getting fatter isnt exactly something i would worry about, your only 5 weeks in, the buds gain most of their mass the last few weeks. So unless your plant did start revegging(which takes a few weeks of veg light cycles and their are always these deformed sort of leaves at the beginning of the actual physical switch) sounds more like youve got a good thing happening....dont worry so much about bud density right now, most of the mass is added the last 2 weeks, sounds like yours still got a good deal of growing and swelling to do still.

dunno why it keeps posting when i havnt finished.

they look to me to be young long flowering plants, theres no real bud formation yet, they will grow wispy buds anyway, but theres no look of fullness on them.

let them go until its ripe man, check the ginetics,if its not the time frame you were expecting for flowering,it may have something to do with a pheno you have used?maybe just the strain.some plants from same mother dont finish together for one reason or another.

i wouldnt be chopping unless your 100% sure man, nothing worse than unfinished green.

if its a hight thing, just bend the head over and tie it with wire.

good luck

dont get trigger happy man,you will regret it.
p.s looking good

i see nothing wrong new growth wise. however some of your plants fan leaves are looking kind of bad, thats what i would be worried about. What is your soil ph and what kind of nutrients are you using?

i am using sea-grow an fully organic nutrient suplemint and i dont know whats up with the plant ont the right but the leaves started curling at a young age and the one on the wright is perfectly fine i live in South Africa so we get loads of good supper-skunk here i just took some seeds out of a section and started growing don't think there is something wrong with soil PH coz my other plant is looking brilliant in the same pot so maybe it is just the strain then ill just have to chop the one and leave the one witch is looking good and healthy and the nutrients i am using comes from fish and stuff so it really makes my grow room stink like shit but my plants love it i hope that helped and that there is something i can try to make the leaves look a bit better thank u very much for all the reply's

how large of a container? i think we've found your problem. 2 plants in one container will compete with each other and it appears the one thats doing good is winning right now. cutting 1 would still leave all the roots of it all tangled up with the others healthy living roots of the other plant and possibley cause root rot or something like that. In the future remember only 1 plant a container. as for now i'd probally just put them in as large of a container i could find, like a rubbermaid tote or something and move both 2 it and not seperate them and hope for the best.

Why are you chopping it man, theres nothing wrong with it. Just be patient, there's no reason to chop early and you have nothing to loose by letting it go longer. If it gets too tall then just tie it down a bit!

yup, it wouldnt make sense cutting it down...since the other plant is winning mostly the other would at least finish as well...not as great but better than when you chopped it right now. you still get buds there my man

Instead of transplanting you can double pot that's where you fill a pot with soil cut the bottom of the one its in and just stick it on top of the one with soil will allow the roots more room to grow with out the risk of transplant but they are looking great I started feeding mine sucanat around 5 weeks and they have swelled severly I always recommend at this stage to read up on mollassis or sucanat good carbs for the buds keep up the good work
