Hash oil/shatter supplies

Can anyone point me in the direction of a 1,000ml+ pyrex tube for making my oil and shatter? I know it needs a hole in the bottom, but I don't remember what the name of those pieces are so I plan on just drilling the hole myself. If there is something else I could use for blowing the butane through, that info would be helpful as well. I've check all hobby shops and teacher supply stores in my area. Also did a google search and couldn't come up with anything. Thanks in advance!

hmmm .. I made my own, but Im a metal smith so kinda easy for me




even got the stainless steel net from work, made it to fit a few grams of cutting, to play it "safe"
just for my own personal use and sumthing I make now and then to add to my smoke if I want it strong, or if Im out of smoke and have some cuttings left its also great until next harvest

maybe give you some inspiration ?

I once used a normal pice of plastic tube with a pice of the lit of the butane gas cut it in to fit the top of the tube with a hole for the butane just secured with tape and a coffee filter at the bottom with a rubber string to hold it in place, just a quick DIY to make some at a friends house, be creative

So using glass/pyrex isn't mandatory? I could definitely make something out of pvc no problem if that's the case

its working for me, my biggest concern was safety, why I made the "container" small, rather do it a few times then use a hole bottle at the time and end up blowing up my house, so remember do it out side or a very well ventilated place (I do it directly under my cooking ventilation on full strength and give it a fem minutes to damp off) and open fire/smokeing is a BIG NO NO!!!!!!

but yea I have had no problems using a plastic or metal tube to store the cuttings and blow the gas through, if metal net is hard to come by ? some woman stockings can be used as well (google it)

sure, but the butane kind a freeze it so no need, I just keep my cuttings in a sealed container after its is dried, some store it in the refrigerator if they store it for long, I just cut it up nicely, sugar leaves/cuttings and some popcorn buds maybe and put a few grams in the tube, put the net and under part on and secure it with some clamps then stick the butane in the hole, I start "slowly" and speed it up and I continue until I have a good amount of run through on the plate then I let it sit and evaporate under my outtake ventilation over my cooker and I don't have any open fire or any light on near by, keep safe, you can with good results make a second go at the same cuttings before you throw it out, to extract the last oil, if potent enough it can add up a bit ..

I had an extra 10 oz spray bottle made of aluminum so I used that. Did some research on the pvc, and if you don't use the right kind, it begins degrading after one use and you get chemicals in your oil. Drilled a hole in one end and stuffed the other end full, then rapped it with 3 sized coffee filters and tied them on with a hair tie. Worked AMAZING! Ran 12 oz of 7x refined through a packed can. Got about a g. I was having problems getting it to stick in the new container, so I mixed some keef in with it to thicken it up. Now I have some super fire tasting green goo!. It's sooooo strong!

We have our borosilicate tubes made by a scientific glass blower in lots of 10, mix and match on lengths. For a 1" ID heavy wall tube, it costs us $1 per inch, plus $5 to flare one end and radius the other closed, except for an injection hole.

You might look at the stainless sanitary spools from Glaciertank.com, with end cap and clamp. They will ship them to you.
