All the Kentucky boys are being greedy...or shove n it all in whiskey barrels to cure...All I know is when the supply goes down the price goes up someone needs to get some up here...hint hint Kentucky :)

the east is fairly dry too. unless you know people.

why ? anyones guess. police cracking down on large comercial grows, getting them just before harvest this makes bud harder too come buy. been a couple of large busts with between 200-400+ plants being siezed.

as for selling . NO dont its class B now so your looking betwen 5yr and 14yr for supplying. its become a joke and now they want too make selling seed ilegal. just think how many millions are paid each year on tax from seed selling and how many jobs would be lost, and how much revenue they loose (government). we already struggling with the market now. Maybe old gordon needs a smoke so he can see the UK for what it realy is !!!

:leaf:I'm still bit north of that but yeah we've had some indoor guys bite the bullit but I think the price thing is being exagerated...anyway I think in bout a month all the outdoor will be done and drying thats where all the real weight is outdoor, maybe that will take some of the pain outta getting a sack.... seen that same low grade stems and stick up here (120)told them to stick it get it? Dam'n I'm high got taxed on a 1/2 oz of some good green $70 but it's yummy like it to go back to 55

IF most of your commercial weed from these areas is grown outdoors, then the harvest season was last fall. With bust taking place and people smoking, eventually supply will dry up until next harvest. I notice some decent weed out there but if you look closely you can tell it is the last part of a crop or stash. Old, crumbly, lots of shake and so forth. That is just my 2 cents. I have been smoking for 30 years and live in the midwest. Just my opinion!!

im in ontario and there has been alot of grow houses busted and the project "fortitude" shit that happened on the 21st that put o few of my old friends in jail so the flow is slowin down here too you can still find some old outdoor and its been a few weeks since the last bust so the commercial is startin to pop up again but its is pretty scarce for what the area is usually like hopefully there will be lots of fresh outdoor here in a few weeks

I never thought about the "dry spells" being seasonal, but then I wasn't looking at it from a growers point of view either. Hopefully, there will be some good on the market soon. Strange, but I haven't heard of any grow busts anywhere near here, Indoor or outdoors. Yet it's definitely a sellers market.
In the meantime, I'm chopping today. I think I'm on the early side, but definitely "in the window" of ripeness. Going for a fruity/head type high instead of the narcotic couch pressing "you aint getting up for the duration" that I've been buying. So I believe I'll get thru the drought OK.

its dryer in these parts, not the worst I've seen. And my new connoisseur-level smoke guy is just unreliable.

Thinking about making some calls today.

Whats up with that? We had a great consistent connection for YEARS, and one day she flaked out on us. Since then it's been hit or miss. I have one reliable connection, but for some high grade commercial, not for "connoiseur" like I used to get. And now this "drought" is affecting her as well. It is for that reason I decided to try my hand at growing. I figured that if they can do it, so can I, and probably better. (Yeah, I'm arrogant!!)

PS: An update on the harvest. WAAYYY better than I expected!!! We smoked some that was picked Sunday, and was dry enough to smoke by Wednesday. I love the effects I'm getting, and potency is way better than the bagseed it came from. If this does get better with age and curing, I did REAL good.

That shit sucks, right?! Gotta charge that shit to the game, but it really pisses me off. Wait on your weed man, and when he finally shows up, you're like, "is this it? This is what I waited over 2 hours for?"
I'm tired of that shit, too. That's why I'm kicking off my own grow. In a few more months, I ain't gonna be waiting on NO ONE by my damned self!!
