Has SuperThrive changed recently?

So, I saw a video of a grower who uses superthrive and started researching it before purchasing.

When I looked up reviews on Amazon, someone had given it a low review and said, "the original owner just died and his daughter replaced the formula with a cheaper version to produce and it's no longer useful" and there was a bunch of negative comments that were all generated recently, so I thought, "hmmmmmmm....interesting"

Has anyone purchased this recently and noticed a difference? I've never used it. The website says that they will send you a free sample if you request one, but I don't know if that's true. They haven't sent me my free sample yet.

Haven't seen if there has been a change to the product or formula. Got an old crusty bottle from like 5 years ago. Stuff last a long time.
Maybe, I will send off for the free sample to see... Just a self addressed stamped envelope for the sample 1/10 of an Oz.. Haha Done

It could be the same formula but with differently sourced ingredients. I dunno, I don't like the fact that it looks different lol.

Well, they said it's the same formula as the old dude invented in the 40's. According to wikipedia, it's just rooting hormone and a b vitamin, dissolved in water.

I guess I can stop dipping my cuttings in that messy powder and just use this stuff. 2 drops per gallon.

Make a super thrive solution [water/ST] and soak your clone cuttings in it, then use that 'messy powder'... Uncle Ben did a little study side by side and ST helps early in root production... and that's about it... I use ST in my Veg Room only... and obviously with rooting of clones... after clone is rooted, the roots on the non ST plant caught up in Veg... So no ST in Bud... Snake Oil ? maybe... if you use it for something other than clones and rooting.... Good Luck !
