Lol oh no! I just clicked on their ad and saw what looked like decent lights, but I still feel like cree COBs are my best option...I was just curious if they anyone has used them? Not looking to start a debate lol, sorry!

Hybridway uses them so s/he'll be your go to dude on those. Lots of quality COBs out there. Cree definitely makes some good stuff but so do other companies and they'll cost quite a bit less. Also, if you feel like you want to add some extra color you can always just add a couple mono's to your COBs.

Looking to convert to LEDs, I was set on COBS. But I saw an advertisment for this product line on the site, using both COBs and diodes....anyway, the brand name is Amare; here is a link to the site. Is this a viable option or are COBs still my best bet?

Running 2850w of them now over a 15'x4.5' space now. Great customer service too.
What do ya wanna know bud? They run Cree Cobs top-bin & the latest diodes.

Hybridway also works for amare and constantly rummages through these threads looking for an opportunity to plug his lamps.

Well, you answered most of my questions. My last question; do you advertise or endorse this product/brand? I do not trust the opinion of anyone who is advertising said product, that is just simple logic...I'm not gonna go to an LED manufacturer an ask "Should I buy an LED?" for example. Because there will inherently be financial and reputable motivations to their response and its contents.
I feel that either CREE COB's or the GC-630W DE CMH will be my best options based rawly on the responses to this post and my own research. This feels like the "Advanced Platinum" thread I created awhile back asking if they were any good...boy was that one hell of a debate between the sponsors and the members! Any members unaffiliated with this brand that use this product, I still welcome your experiences! Just not sponsors or someone endorsing the product.

Oh my apologies if I came across as having an attitude Hybridway, just tired of sponsors pushing their products I guess. And thank you Randomhero! I know of Citizen and Vero (I think?) COBs, but they really aren't much cheaper...maybe 20-50$ a Cob. But they do not look any different.

No, I don't work for them or endorse. Just a grower who's happy w/ the product & service. Feel free to stop by any of my threads using them. You'll see I'm legit. That dude ChurchHaze is just a troll. There's allot of guys like that around here, just waiting for the opportunity to talk non-sense.
Unlike those guys, I have experience w/ said product.

Here's some Shilly McSpamerton for some of youze guys to feed on! lol! image.jpgimage.jpgYou have no other questions OP? I've got tons of insight on them if you ever want it. That is if you don't mind taking it from someone who actually has experienced the product & understands this stuff. JK kind've.
These guys are the original Cob lights to be mktd. & the only hybrid enhanced, using top quality components.
Hey, I'm happy!
Over a plate per plant per light here using 400w a plant. N these were beater plants.

Thank you for showing me them in use Hybridway I am feeling more towards the 630w DE LEC right now and supplementing with either straight COBs or something along the line of this for supplemental lighting. Thanks! I've been searching the site for any cooler options to my HID. If anyone has any recomendations I have a 6x6 that will be running about 5-6 plants, all autos. But they still get big with plenty of light in DWC.

NP, If you're trying for a nice spectrum then x4 CMH315's or DIY cobs, then there's plenty of manufactured comp.s. In led.
Didn't think those 630' cmh's lasted long. That's why they went 315. Maybe I'm wrong.
The Ceramic HPS is coming out to if it hadn't already.
