Has anyone ever used an Emily's Garden hydroponic system?

Has anyone ever used an Emily's Garden hydroponic system? I bought one a few weeks ago, and set it up yesterday, and the seeds are germinating in rockwool as we speak. This will be my first time growing with hydro. I have grown outdoors, and indoors with soil for more than 15 years. All my indoor grows were done with T12s, T5s, and I now have a 250 watt HPS, and a 90 watt LED. I will be using the 90 watt LED with this grow.

For those that have used one, what kind of results did you get from it?

Please, LED haters, go somewhere else to speak ill of LEDs. I'm not here for arguing. I already know how you feel about LEDs. So, be gone!

I have seen old journals and threads with people using them, it seems that most people upgrade the air pump, and air stones.
Too bad none of these people posted their results.... The closest thing I've seen for "results", someone said they knew someone
that pulled 1/2LB using one. No pics, nothing. I'm not expecting 1/2 from mine, maybe up to 1/4LB. If I'm lucky.

LOL No lie I was just talking about upgrading the air pump and stones. It will do the job for 4 plants, but to run 6 you got to upgrade the pump.

I'm starting 6 in there, but the seeds are not fems, so, I am expecting between 2-4 males. Leaving me 2-4 females.
I'll probably veg for just 2-3 weeks. Which is what I always did in soil.

How far along are you in your grow? Are you using the nutes that came with it? The GH 3 part nutes?

Ive had an emilys garden and mine did just fine,the system really needs a drip on it ..Im also going to try LED in my veg room to save on my electric bill

I'm looking at ways to modify it already. I'm definitely adding a new air pump and stones.
Did you have any issues with the res getting filled with roots too fast?

LEDs are excellent for veg. You wont be disappointed.

Im 20 days or so in from seed. Im not using the nutes that came with it. Im using the recipe for success from technaflora. Yea if you get 4 female put them on the outer 4 holes. ( closest to the airstones) If you upgrade the air pump dont worry about it.

Growing anything good?
I have only been growing a cross I made in the 90s, skunk #1 x bagseed. It's actually pretty good. I also grow Skunk #1 (not crossed)
and random bagseed. I've been eying some strains at Attitude for a while now, I always wanted to try White Widow. It's probably overrated,
but until I try it.... The best I ever had was Acapulco Gold, I got it when I lived in Mexico. I only took 4 hits, and I had to cancel all my
plans for that day. I'd like to grow something like that. 4 hits to get me stoned like that, I was impressed.

currently on my 3rd grow with EG and 90watt UFO from HTG. it comes and goes, meaning my first grow was AWESOME!!....2nd not so much. totally depends on the mother nature aspect, the plants you use. currently have green crack clones that seem to be doing okay, but the roots haven't made it to the reservoir so i'm thinking it will do much better once that happens. definitely upgrade the airstones, the pump...use your discretion. the biggest thing, and i don't know why it happens, watch the PH. i have to adjust every day...i keep it on a constant 6 at all times, but in a 24 hour period it goes to about 6.24. for someone that grows their own medicine it can't be beat...4-6oz every 90 days.

I was gifted EG 2 months ago. This is my first hydro grow. My plants are starting to flower but don't seem healthy. How much water is supposed to be in the tank. I had it filled to the second hole in the pots. I drained the water down to the first hole in the pot. PH is fine but isn't there supposed to be a gap in between the bottom of the basket and the water level???
