Harvesting w/ spider mites

Hey Yall,
I've been battling fucking spider mites full cycle, now I'm just trying to harvest ASAP so I can get in there and really clean the grow space before new buddies go in. I just cut one down early b/c it was especially infested, and I've been tryingto figure out how to get the mites off during drying before I smoke it. So far my only thought has been to flash-freeze the fuckers by putting the whole plant in the freezer in a paper bag for about 15 mins and hopefully kill them all.. the proceed with letting them hang dry (thaw out) and cure, and so on.. I also read somewhere that they should die anyway after harvest as there are no plant juices left to feed on. Anybody got any ideas or have had this problem before?

Wow. Thats a tough one. I'm really not sure what to do if you are about to harvest your crop now BUT I do suggest fully cleaning out and disinfecting your entire grow room before you start over again. I have read a lot of nightmarish stories from members with the same probs. Get rid of them before you start again or you might never get rid of them. There was one woman here that used enough pesticides on her plants to kill a small rodent and she still didn't kill them.

Its ok to use azatrol up til the last two days before harvest... freezing will kill them but there will always be more eggs some where that survive. in the room and on the bud.. spray that shit freeze that shit dry that shit smoke that shit

After harvesting and putting your plant upside down, all the mites will start to leave and form a ball on the end of the cut trunk. When they ball up you can just burn them all with a flick of a lighter!

i'm having the same problem i'm 5 days from crop...i wanna chop right now so i dont have to deal with the little fuckers anymore

i got bugs on my nugs! im a dirtbag and may just smoke them i dont think i can start soaping them and hell the bugs are organic? right? god made dirt and dirt dont hirt! maybe ill trip out or something lol any1 know what i might do? or if im gonna see lucy in the sky with diamonds if i do say f it and smoke them?

PS does the hang dry and burn the ball of spiderfuckers work???

The spidermites will go away after the plants have no more life in them just cure them away from your grow space so they dont find their way back

If it were me, and I had to chop some ladies with mites...

I would cut the buds down and manicure as best as I could. I'd probably take most of the webs off, but not the mites so much . Then, I'd water cure all of the afflicted plants. The water cure could get rid of garbage like mite eggs, or other garbage chemicals...maybe some actual mites.

But that's me. I get paranoid and water cure shit when bugs live in my stuff, or I don't have time to flush.
