Harvesting soon after last feed.

Yesterday I pumped one of my girls full of nutes for the last time. She is about 8 weeks into flowering and her triches are mostly cloudy, some clear, and like 1 amber. Its a indica dom bagseed. I want to cut her down today, would this be wise considering the soil is still wet and she is pumped full of nutes? Im aiming for a less couch lock effect so Id rather not wait much longer if possible.

imo nutes in the soil are not going to affect the taste of the buds.. a good dry / cure is all that's needed for good tasting and burning weed.. :)

yea after researching for a long time last night i decided flushing isnt necessary. as far as the triches go, is harvesting an indica dom with still some clear triches a bad idea? or will the high still be enjoyable?

i'm under the opinion that no matter when you harvest an indica, it's going to always give you a couchlock high.. i know people say that harvesting it early will give a more clear headed high , but you'll never get a sativa high out of an indica, no matter when you harvest it, and you'll never get a couchlock stone out of a sativa.. same deal..
i just like to take them till the buds are done... looking at the trics is only one of a few different things to know when your plants are done.. swollen calyxes, receded pistils and overall color of buds are some other important factors to take into account imho..

Last thing you want is cracking, pooping from you bud
definitely dont want my buds pooping. hahaha. but honestly i didnt flush in my last grow and it tasted and burned just fine. i will try flushing my next harvest which should be in 2 weeks and see if there is a difference when all is said and done.

also real quick, whats everyones opinions on leaving the plant in the dark for a few days to increase resin production? any truth to this or is it a myth?

You'll be fine. It's going to take a couple more days than normal to dry though.

As long as you dry and age it (cure it) properly, meaning don't rush it, it won't crackle and pop.

To improve the taste of my hydro I cut off the roots and vase it for the last 24hrs in RO water removing them just when the hps comes on. It is important not to let them go dry during this process.
