Hey I am on week 6 of flowering and am wonderng when I should Harvest.

I have ordered a 60 - 100x microscope from ebay and it should be here shortly.

On the top nugs, about 50% of the hairs have turned brown/redish, and the other hairs are white/milkyish color.

The nugs below mostly have all white hairs still.

The leaves all around the plant have not shown any sign of yellowing yet.

The THC is looking very good at the moment.

But the thing is, my biggest nugs, are probly only 10 - 15 bag nugs.

Do you think I still have 2 weeks left? Since I'm only on 6th week?

I'll be sure when I need to harvest when I get my handheld microscope in, but till then, any help/tips?

also


harvesting from your owns eyes usally exspirence growers(depends on strain) like to have 70-80% red hairs


you can also cut the main cola off and let the lower buds grow more

I wait till I see the first seed start to form.all female plants will produce there own seeds right at the end of there life.self-preservation i guess you would call it.

yeah, female plants produce seed if and only if they are pollinated by a male flower's pollen....

and yeah, some all female plants do hermy late late in flowering, producing a single or just a couple male pollen sacks usually hidden in the buds...

yeah I have 6 female plants(out of 10). I only wanted 4 but i couldnt bring myself to throw away 2 perfectly good females, but i didnt have enough room to keep 6 5 gallon pots under my 1 light so instead of throwing away the 2 smallest females i just kept the extra 2 in the little 1 gallon ones and sd fuck it i might get litke a joints worth. but thats a free joint amirite.

well this one kept falling over cause the cola was so heavy and i was tired of fucking with it. So i just cut it down today. I found a seed.

Im pretty sure when that happens the seed will always be female tho? I inspect my plants everyday and there are 0 signs of pollen sacks but in each plant ive seen a seed pod or 2.

they will more than likely be females
could herm on ya too though

ever hear of "feminised" seeds?

you just got some for free...
