get a couple buddies who you like to burn with and smoke em up on a blizz and have em help you trimm.

go on youtube and look up "trimmers". You can also go to your local hydro store and ask if they would recommend you one. Some of these machines will trim a whole cola off its leaves, some will trim individually cut nuggets pretty closely. But be advised, you will still need to manicure just a tad bit if you want your nugs looking perfect to donate to clubs or if you want bag appeal. These machines will cut your trimming time by a lot. Some cost $200-$400, some will cost in the thousands. Do a little research and see which will fit your need. Youtube can show you how each machine is used. Then check craigslist to see if anyone is selling a used one in good condition. Thats what I do before buying anything expensive. I understand if you dont want friends to help you trim. (it eats up the pofits, they might spread the word that you are growing, etc.)

and too greedy
before i paid them 8 dollar per hour now they are asking 12 dollars so i stopped using any one
we pay $20 an hour for good trimmers around here, as well as feeding them lunch and getting them blazed.

$8 an hour is a wage for an incompetent burger king employee, not someone who's putting in the tedious work of manicuring sinsemilla.

You need to find some decent trimmers, and when you do, don't insult them with 8$ an hour. Good trimmers are worth every penny of 20 an hour. It takes the crew of 3, 60 man hours for roughly 12 pounds. Take into account 20 of those MH are free, about a QP paid out for a crop, better than complaining about it.

i checked youtube and all the trimmers are BS none is good any time you put your buds inside a machine it means you are going to get shakes so far i never saw a trimmer worth buying except you have one you suggesting
btw i bought one with 700 and it did not trim one bud :-(

I'd say pay them in bud and your profit margin will be better then in cash.

I typically agree about auto trimmers, you loose that hand manicured quality and end up with more abuse of the buds. I don't want to treat my buds that way. I did see this in action at the cannabis cup in denver back in april and it was pretty cool http://thewhiptrimmer.com/. It allows the detailed trimming of hand work, but with the added speed of having a machine helping you, and not having to work the scissors. It also hooks up to a vacuum and pulls all the trim into the collection area automatically. It is set up to use a bubble bag type system inside to collect any loose kif as well allowing you to save it all!

you need to fill it up by uniformed buds all the same size and still hurt most of them
so instead losing like 33% its cheaper to hire guys by 30 dollars per hour :-P

no machine will ever replace a human being. My boss doesn't use a machine, he uses me, my hands, and my attention to detail.Plus the fact that my production doesn't go down no matter how many spliffs I smoke. He pays me in meds @ 20 Hr, and has me come back every harvest. If you have any sort of weight, you should invest in the time to find some reliable scissor work to help on the regular. Be weary of trimmers with " Fiskers" and only hire trimmers that own their own blades. I wish I lived in your area so I could help you to see just how valuable some 20 Hr. blade work is worth.
