Harvest time help

hey guys i checked the tric's on my chronic thunder and they are all cloudy for the most part. I'm gonna wait till i see atleast 20% amber to harvest, but since its getting close to that time ive got some questions.
this plant is almost 6 weeks into flower.

1. should i quit giving nutes and just use water?
2. Is there a certain time i should shut off watering completly? or water the whole way up until harvest?
3. Any estimates on how much longer till i see amber?
4. Is it normal that all my leaves are still really dark? No yellowing or dying looking leaves. Does this mean there is still an excess build up of nutes within the plant?
5. No hairs have started turning brown/orange yet. Is this normal???
6. Am i just being paranoid?????
lol thanks fir any help!!!Mon Sep 29 20-46-56.jpg

1. Use plain water for your last 3 waterings.
2. No not really. You can water day of harvest without hurting the plant but you add unecessary time to your drying process. I usually stop watering 2 or 3 days ahead of harvest because the buds will dry quicker if you aren't cutting a fully hydrated plant.
3. No.
4. Yes. No.
5. Yes.
6. Yes.

can you post a pic of the entire plant....hard to judge from just looking at the trichromes

May I ask what you took your picture with? Good stuff!

Why do you want 20% amber?
It's a cheap usb microscope i got off ebay.
I'm looking for more of a couchlock stone i guess. I'll post some pics of my girl later tonight after she's done sleeping.
Bugeye, I envy your greenhouse, just so you know. Absolutely beautiful!!

Thanks! I might check out those USB microscopes, I can't take pics with mine.

I would just stay in a holding pattern and keep scoping everyday. I agree with Quispp for the most part. The trichomes look like you are in a harvest window but if none of your hairs have receded yet, you may just have a variety that can hold a cloudy trichome for a long time. I would recomend you take a little with 5% amber just to compare to your 20% amber. Amber is a degradation so you will be past the prime at that ratio. Maybe you've already done this and know what you want. Post a pic of the plant if you can, looks like a winner!

Your first question should be "do I want to re-grow this plant?".

1. Quit using nutes 2 weeks prior to harvest. Best way to flush out the nutes is to flush her. Slowly run 5 gallons of room temperature water through the plant.
2. Buds are 90% water, so run clear water through them like normal the last 2 weeks.
3. With that many light-colored tris already you should see amber today.
4. Normally we would expect to see some of the lower fan leaves turning yellow by now. Any chance you removed some fans earlier?
5. Normally the pistils will start to turn orange before the tris darken. Lack of yellow leaves doesn't mean a chemical inbalance. Could just be good genetics.
6. Yes, you are being paranoid. But just because you are paranoid doesn't mean they aren't still after you. Better send me all your plants immediately for personal inspection.

Smile you guys, have some fun out there! BigSteve.
