2 weeks in, haven't posted in a week or so so figure I'd get some input on how the girls look at this point. I'm growing 100% organic, just water, light, air, organic dry nutes, & TLC. It's a closet grow & my closet is very small, this is also my first actual grow I've done alone as well. I've bought some Ed Rosenthal books last week "Marijuana Sucess Indoors" that I'm wishing I bought earlier but all it's all good. Ill prob never flower with CFL's again probably just for this grow here I have 3 unknown strains. 2 sativa females & 1 indica hermi I have seperate in another room for pollen & what not, you'd be suprised how much bud the hermi has on it I'll have to take pictures of that next. These bud pics are just a couple of the first & easiest ones I could take a picture of without having to maneuver my 250 LB body through the grow area to get all of the stalks & colas. I also have a couple questions if anyone would want to answer as well!
1.) Some of my colas are not getting enough light on the lower section because there are so many fan leaves every where, is there any type of clipping I can do where I can get some of that sun to other areas of the plant without totally killing the plants energy?
2.) Little fucking baby flys, I have bought fly traps that have been working good. But is there anything I can put on the bottom of the plant to attract them away from the plant? I've heard someone say a potato works well. Confirm or Deny.
3.)Do you guys think I should flower em for 8 weeks? or let the sativas sit longer & harvest the indica hermi around 8. Ill probably have to eye it out tbh.
Any last advice from you guys before i chop them up and smoke them? Have a look at my girls, they are named J and Z
