harvest questions

so my top nug is really close to being ready to harvest about half the hairs are red but a couple of the other buds only have like one or two red hairs, can i pick them seperatly as i want to or is that a bad idea heres a couple picks. also any tips on dry-curing

hey bro, let that plant go for another 3 or 4 weeks first off, also what type of light did u use man, they look like theyre hurtin, umm maybe next time if you invest a few bucks u can come up with some primo stuff man, im sure that bud will be good and all but trust me, next time read a cpl grow FAQs here if u need i can get u links and then try again good job tho

Yea I agree with all the above actually may need longer looks like they have not been in flowering that long. Probably need like another 6 weeks if you are trying to harvest them fully mature.

That seems to me way too early to harvest man.....You should really consider waiting a little bit longer....How long have you been flowering? And what kind of light are you using?

im usen 3 6700 cfls and 2 2700 thats why the plants not the best i have a nitrogen def as well but i just got some blood meal for that but only been buding for about 30 days but a friend of mine said that when 5o percent of the hairs are red its good to harvest so is that bullshit or what

well ur friend is wrong...and when u are flowering ur plants well start to yellow because there pullin in all the goodness to the buds.....no offense on the friend thing

alright well than how do i tell for sure then, ya i know they will should i just cut some of those diening leaves off in the first place

i would go to radio shack and get a 13 dollar hand micro scope....and look at the trichs that way u will know for sure when there ready

Do not listen to your friend. Go only by the trichome color and the trichome color alone. Harvest when the color will give you the high/stone/combined high-stone that you like the most and do not listen to what others tell you to do based on their personal taste.

Purchase a scope of some sort. Radio Shack has one that is inexpensive and is adequate. You can find it here.

Watch your trichomes and harvest when they are the best color for your personal preference/taste.




Follow the link below and read and learn about drying and curing and then follow the steps as close as possible and you will get the very best results you can.

it is indeed, im happy with it for my first cfl grow, almost have enough saved up for a light, think its gonna be a Digital Electronic Ultimate 400 watt HPS & MH Grow Light everythings 230 bucks sounds like a deal to me , just growin for personal use you guys got any light reccomendations or reflector should i get a cooled reflector instead of the one it comes with
