Harvest question (yes, another one of those threads) :(

I really hate being the one to post yet another one of these threads *hangs head in shame*.

Here is my situation, my girl is 60 days flowering (July 27th first pistils showed). I have a few details:

-Over the past 2 weeks there has been a lot of morning dew, yesterday upon her daily inspection I noticed a small amount of bud rot. I cut the rot out and torched the area in question. I'd say I lost about a gram to this affliction. No other rot or mould is present. The buds are nice and dense, I'm concerned about lower temps and the increased humidity.

-The smell of this girl is unbelievably AWESOME !!! You walk out onto my back deck and you are met by a citrus / skunk sensation to your olfactory system ! My wife disagrees about how wonderful this is... she wants the girl gone soon :(

-My trichs (on the bud itself) are about 10% clear 85% cloudy and 5% amber. Some of the cloudy looking ones appear to be making a transition to amber. (I prefer a more active, less "lazy" high)

- My pistils are about 40%-50% brown, the remainder are white with browning tips...

-Fan leaves are yellowing and dropping (well, pulled off when they droop enough to let go easily).

-The bud swell has significantly slowed from last week.

My question is, of course... "Is she ready?" and "Would another 5 days benefit her?". My wife wants her down by the end of the month and the occurance of the bot rot is making me really nervous.

Here's what she looks like as of yesterday:

looks like you have a big yard is there anywhere you can move it so it get blown about in the wind which will remove the moisture? Looks like a nice plant too good work!

I told her to give me 10 days. That was on the 20th.

I'm REALLY hoping that is enough time.

Thanks guys!

Fingers crossed.

The spot it is in gets a nice breeze most of the time and gets the longest hours of direct sun.

Why is your wife so adamant about pulling early? Weed smells great, and by looking I'd say at least another week but ideally two

Paranoia... "If I can smell it out here so can the nieghbors"

*rolls eyes*

Honestly I don't give a shit if the nieghbors know or not. I would however prefer not for it to turn into an issue that ends with my ass sleeping on the couch. ;)

Beautiful plants first time guy, they look good and I would suggest leaving them until the first of October at the earliest to get maximum weight and potential out of it. Now that being said if your wife is bothered by it or worried than perhaps it may best to sacrifice a little swelling to make her happy. You've still got a couple ounces easily probably more, so it's your call. If your asking specifically about the plant being done, than no I think it needs a week or two at least. Good job though and good luck in your decision making;.

Awesome plant buddy. This is my first grow season as well. Our plants are about the same size, as well as colas. A little advice is to get the big colas staked up. Mine looked like that last week, then I went out on Sunday and one of the branches were laying over. But take it for what its worth, Im a bit of a N00B too. Here are mine...

Does anyone care to comment on the mould playing into my descision? I'm a little concerned about it spreading to other colas and potentially losing a good portion of the crop.

Will 5 more days be okay?

When I see mold, I take biggest colas as that's where problem usually starts in the more dense big colas......

mold does in fact spread... Have you been removing the effected areas when you notice them?
I cut out the mould on one cola and used a torch to burn out the area but it now appears as if I have to do the same thing to 2 other colas as well...

Ugh, the humidity here is killing me. Morning dew and days that only reach 17-19 C, RH is anywhere from 75% (day) to 90%(night) last night was 100% RH :(

Should I cut out the rest of the mould I have found, torch the surrounding areas and hit the rest of the buds with some H2O2 and ride it out for a week with my fingers crossed?

Or

Should I cut out the mould, tourch the surrounding areas and chop this bitch down and be happy with what I do have even though she could probably bulk up a little more?

After a summer of care this first time grower is seriously stressed, lol

I can deal with my wife being less than impressed (hell I'd let this girl ride for 2 more weeks if she needs it) but the mould is seriously concerning me :(
