Harvest Opinions Needed (pics)

Hey fellow growers!

Current grow is 6 Nirvana NL girls, first time using a 600w hps with decent space so had higher than usual expectations. That was until the spider mites came to give me a visit!

Mites struck badly in week 2 flowering, had to strip many a fan leaf and bud site due to being riddled with eggs. All this caused my buds to never fully plump up due to the stress I believe. So I decided to grow on and see if I could atleast manage a harvest of potent herb, regardless of how small the yield.

Which brings me to today, day 49 flowering. Pistils still mostly white, depressingly small bud size and next to no healthy leaves. The plan was to harvest at around day 56....I have the mites under control but fear they will make a grand reappearance if I leave harvest to long. I have started feeding pure water now (growing in coco) to prepare for harvest, but also because I cant bring myself to waste more nutes and money on these sad sad girls.

So.....What would you do if you were me?

Would you chop now, and start the next round for vegging?
Wait out till the 56th day, then chop no matter what because the plant wont ever hit maturity?
Or leave it to see if they will start plumping up and maturing? Start feeding again?

It seems the buds aren't going to put more bulk on, so I'm just hoping they will still manage to be somewhat potent....I just really really don't want to continue spending a fortune on low grade weed until my next harvest is ready!

Thanks for reading, any and all input welcome!

PS: sorry for pic quality, cant wait to have a decent camera to use.

hey i would continue flowering. the buds put most weight on in the last few weeks. try using neem oil for spider mites. it shouldkeep mites away. the plants will start to ripen but the mites couldave prolonged flowering. id let them reach 70 days atleast then check trichs using microscope.

Yeah way to early. N don't starve them if u want weight gain. You have at least 3 maybe 5 weeks based on pics. Let trichs guide u

Thanks for the fast reply's guys!

I stopped using neem about a week ago due to the fact I thought harvest was approaching and didn't want to leave a bad taste. Using mighty wash at the moment with good results though so hopefully it continues working for me.

So what you guys are saying is that the stress has prolonged flowering rather than just causing poorly formed buds? To explain better I always thought stress during flowering wouldn't push back the harvest date per say, but just affect yeild and potency in a negative way. If I can keep flowering and get close to the results I could of had without the stress, but just at a delayed harvest date ill be more than happy!

Maybe ill just give them a low (1ec) constant feed for another week or two and see if they keep maturing. They have had only plain water past 3 days so hopefully that doesn't affect anything too much....I just cant imagine much more growth, feels like they have looked the same fore 3 weeks now :(

Nute def and insufficient light will slow flowering . If u are still getting lots of white hairs keep it going until they really slow down and your trichs are all cloudy. Then flush. When I had a minor outbreak of mites n flies I used reg fly tape and caught most if them w/o using neem in flower
