My 5 White Widows are 6 weeks old today from seed. I hear a lot of recommendations as to waiting for the pre-flower before forcing into the budding stage. I was wondering what you all have experienced and what your general rule of thumb is on plant size prior to flowering. Right now, the tallest 2 plants are 17 inches.

There is no rule of thumb on this one, it is all up to the grower.

Well it all comes down to the size of the space you are growing in,

If you have 6 ft, 72 inches. I'd say to flower around 24- 30 inches

You have to compensate for the plant stretching 2 - 3 times its size,

Plus you have to think of your lights. You have to have enough space between your lights and your plant.

But your WW look like they are more Indica so they should not stretch that much.
